hcg levels....share yours

Hello, i wanted to get a feel for hcg levels and whether you have a singleton or multiples. Share what your quantatative hcg's were and how far along you were when they were drawn. And of course if u had your U/s too, how many babies are you having? I have a history of twins and my hcg's at 4w0d and 4w2d were 283 and 825 respectively. Ob moved my u/s up to 6w to ck for twins again... Im nervous...did anyone else have high #'s but only 1 baby?

I was 233 at 4 wks 1 day. We transfered two embryos with our IVF, so it could be more then one. I have done a ton of research on this, and while high hcgs CAN indicate a multiple pregnancy, it doesn't always. I wouldn't worry too much just yet. We will see. I will know in 12 days!

Oh gosh. I had mine drawn at 13 dpo, so 3w6d. It was 266.9. They didn't do a second draw. I have the first ultrasound on the 17th.

11dpo 58, 4 weeks 5 days - a little over 2000. As far as I know just 1! Ultrasound 2 at 6 weeks - next Thursday

I had blood work done last Friday on 10/31 when I was 5 wks 2 days along. HCG was 15,236 and my progesterone was 37.8 already. 

Looking around at different charts, that seems pretty high already. My first u/s is tomorrow morning at 6 wks 3 days so we'll see how it's going in there!

Going by last period i am 6w2d. I had a test at 5w6d and my hcg level was 1592. Which my doctor is putting me at 4w, which is about right when ovulation was.

Mine at 5 weeks was 2650 and at 6 weeks was 23000...the nurse asked if twins run in my family. My ultrasound is Nov 18th. My husband is trying not to worry:)

@officedronette - Yes maam, I did! My RE said everyone's numbers are different and can vary, but I was pretty sure I'd have multiples. We inseminated with 4 mature follicles. Our chances were pretty high haha. Good luck at your ultrasound!!

Well at 5w5d I was 37,000 and at 5w0d I had an u/s and there was just one gestational sac haha mostly because we weren't planning this and I wasn't so positive of my LMP. I'll have another u/s in a couple weeks, my doc wants to wait until I can actually see something!

Nurse mentioned she wouldn't be surprised if there was more than one in there, but we won't know for a few more weeks. I'm delaying our first u/s to be after when our loss stopped growing for peace of mind. I'm looking forward to seeing a strong heart beat and a healthy growing baby in there, no matter how many there ends up being.

@officedronette I am taking the oral form of progesterone.....I do have a bit of darkish blood, but it's very light and my dr. said not to worry about that either.

HCG numbers won't tell you if your carrying multiples. In Feb/Mar/Apr I was pregnant with triplets and my first three beta's were in the "normal range" at 263 14dpo, 678 16dpo and 1599 18dpo. This pregnancy my beta's were 75 at 12dpo, 216 at 14dpo and 2056 at 21dpo. We won't know if there are multiples this pregnancy until our first scan next Thursday. Just hoping for a healthy heartbeat, two would be a huge bonus!

I have been pouring over beta numbers, which I know don't necessarily tell us much of anything, but mine are just SO high! 

I got my +HPT at 4dp5dt and my betas have been:

7dp5dt (12dpo) = 157

9dp5dt (14dpo) = 455

then I had very light, brown spotting at 4w6d so I got an extra beta drawn at 5 weeks (16dp5dt/21dpo) and it was 12,000!!! 

When I look at complied lists (like betabase) and compare these seem SO high?! Can't wait for US in 10 days!

Had five week ultrasound that showed 4 sacs but we are waiting for heartbeats at 7 weeks.

First day I found out I was pregnant I was EXACTLY 3 weeks preg and my HCG was 17.8

Doctor retested two days later and it was 57!! 

amazing!  Next test is in two weeks just to make sure I'm on track for my 8 week visit in December!

@coopmke‌ my u/s this am showed one beautiful little nugget with a steady heartbeat measuring 1 day ahead. That's all I could ever ask for!

I think my body is just doing its job pumping hormones and progesterone to sustain a new life

(Yes, I framed one of the u/s pictures. It totally deserves a place on our mantel right now!)

When the doc called w/the first level @ 4 weeks 3 days he said they're might be more than one baby but they haven't mentioned it again. I have my first u/s this Wed @ 6 weeks 5 days so I guess we'll see then!! I think my hcg # are in the range for a singleton pregnancy but either way we'd be happy. We did IVF & transferred two AA blasts so it is possible they both stuck #:-S

They were concerned because I had some spotting and cramping and they thought my number was low at 10dpo but I knew they were going by my lmp and I ovulated later I was just concerned if it might be ectopic. But the doc called me last night with the last number and said " Uhhh your numbers are considerably higher, I'd say it's a viable pregnancy" lol I'd say so too!

@erpiccy How EXCITING! Congrats! I bet it feels great to finally know, and those were some healthy numbers! I will be counting down the hours until my ultrasound, we are just soooo curious!

And I love the framed photo, we will do the same I am sure. The photo of our blasts has been up on our fridge since transfer day!

I've only had 1 draw this pregnancy and it was 4,263 at 5w1d.

Numbers are great but here I am at 6.5 weeks with completely vanished symptoms for the last few days. Just goes to show that good betas are not a guarantee either. I think looking into betas can be confusing and it just adds more stress and uncertainty. That's just my opinion. I have had 6 pregnancies with one live birth. It's all up to God.

What the everloving fuck.  I just got back from the doctor for having severe abdominal pain, likely due to an ongoing mysterious gallbladder issue.  I'm actually relieved because last night in the throws of pain I thought I was having an ectopic.  Anyway, the doctor called me to tell me my HCG levels were low (250) for having a LMP of October 1st.  I explained AGAIN that I was 4w along (15 dpo) and that my follicular phase was 24 days, ovulation date end of Oct, and I know this due to OPKs and temping.  He was like, well, still that's really low.  I'm going to call your OB so you can get in there tomorrow and do an u/s and get blood draws again.  Cue me FREAKING OUT and frantically looking up HCG levels online and 250 seems to be just fine for 4w.  Am I wrong?  What the fuck?

@octoberstars  How frustrating!  Seems like you're perfectly fine to me though, above median even, based on the beta base (which I consult for all beta-related freaking out and comparisons).

I am 5w3d with my first and my doctor hasn't said anything about getting any blood work done, my first appointment isn't until I am around 9 weeks. Is it normal to have no blood work or appointments until then?

Jennilikes311- it is absolutly normal to not have any labs. For my 1st pregnancy i didn't get them/they were not offered. But since i started having repeat m/c and then when we had twins, it now comes with " my territory" because of my history. You are not missing out but if you asked your ob would probably order them for you if your worried or experiencing cramping/spotting. HTH!
