I was supposed to go backcountry camping with H in West Texas over the summer.  We postponed it because I had the flu and then I got preggers.  So, I would really like to do that if I had a lot more energy!  Oh, and I would totally indulge in a lot more caffeine even though I don't handle it too well.

I have had a scan at 6w (hb 115) scan at 7w (hb 146-found sch) Next appt is 11-13 (Yay!)

I have been on extra rest and pelvic rest for 3 weeks so I would go to the gym and workout like crazy and give DH lots of "lovin"

EDC 06/03/2015. 10 weeks Prune? 

Yes, a 6 yr old son (almost) and a 2 yr old daughter. Black lab Jake.  

I'll be 37 at delivery. 

I feel like M/S might be improving slightly. Thank GOD! Still pretty nauseous in the afternoon but I feel somewhat improved. Still super super tired. 

I had an appt. scheduled the day before Thanksgiving my my HR clinic called and said one of the docs will now be on vacation sooo had to reschedule for Dec. 1st.  I know it's only a few days but kinda bummed about that.  I really wanted to see my little bean and be relaxed over the holiday.  

ooh man. If I could not feel sick and have energy.. oh boy.  I would work out FOR SURE!  I fell like a mushy mess right now. I was working out 7 days a week and I went from that to nothing because I've felt so crappy!  I would clean my house from top to bottom. I've done this but it takes me forever because I'm moving so slow and sporadically depending on morning sickness! Which really they should get rid of the word morning because it's been pretty much constant for me.  I would play with my kids outside for longer period of times and just be more playful in general. I would stay up later and watch a movie or spend more time with my hubby! Instead of ya know being passed out at 8:30. lol

I've also had some moodiness, but have also had a little more energy recently, I started cooking dinner again (to DH's delight)! Also been having stomach icky-ness, heartburn & RLP, don't enjoy those days when all at once!

5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?
Same for me -- not a lot going on right now, my next appt is follow up A/S on 11/13, can't wait to see him again! So happy to be over the halfway point!

Only rant I have is getting my focus back enough to catch up on work so I can get back to swimming @ the gym! I know I can do it!

Walking/Hiking in the mountains in the cool, crisp air taking photos of the beautiful fall colors and smoky mountains.  I'm not sure I could even sit that long in the car to get there (4+ hrs), never mind the hiking to the top of the mountain part!

I have a cold right now. My appetite / nausea are still crap, plus fatigue is back. I don't know how much is illness and how much is m/s. I am still on 4 meds for the m/s.
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?
We have our mid-pregnancy ultrasound on the 19th. Can't wait!

First, let's also say that I am guaranteed good weather and have no issues with childcare for the LO. Over the course of the whole weekend, I'd work in a long bike ride, a pilates class, and some lap swimming. I'd go to a coffee shop and read. DH and I would sip wine by the fire in the fire pit out back. I'd probably also do some cooking. And obviously, we'll have a perfectly clean house, all the laundry would be done, and I wouldn't have to do any of it.

This will be my first child! Exciting and scary! I have a senior dog, but I have a shared custody arrangement (with my ex-boyfriend -- still a great friend).
4. How are you feeling?
I feel good, physically! No real symptoms besides tender breasts. Psychologically: anxious that it's still so early and eager for everything to move along! So, nervous/impatient I guess.
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?
I think I'll make an appointment with my GP for next week just to make sure that all my prenatal blood work came back as expected, and that my HcG levels are on track.

Red wine would definitely be involved. And maybe sushi. And a hot tub. This is starting to shape up into a really lovely fantasy weekend.

BH have started up again. Exhaustion has started up again. RLP is going strong. Other than that...not too shabby.

4. Chest xray is clear so doc put me on cough syrup with codeine. FX this does the trick!! He did say that these coughs can last up to 3 months. Dear lord... Otherwise nothing really going on

QOTW: Hmm I would def be meeting all my friends and going out since I have missed so much due to being pregnancy sick or cough sick!! I missed so many nights out line dancing. That is something I love to do! Oh and going to dinner to eat a good meal with hubby. Still not eating everything I ate pre-pregnancy.

This week has been much better than last week - I have more energy.  I still cannot stop eating though, which is really frustrating, because I feel like a hog.

Next appt is on Monday - planning to do NT scan, Maternit21, and genetic testing.  DH will be with me, which is awesome, since he couldn't make my 6 week appt.  I'm excited, but nervous to make sure everything is still ok.

My weekend would involve lots of local craft beer and probably some sushi.  And definitely sleeping through the entire night without having to wake up to either pee or eat something.

My repeat c-section is scheduled for 1/8! CRAZY. After a long, slow spring and summer, this is suddenly seeming much more real and much more close!

Assuming baby sitters, also. We have SO MUCH STUFF TO DO PRE-BABY. Shopping for all the b-days, for Christmas, all the wrapping, decorating. Plus trying to wrap up as much as possible on our construction/remodeling project here at home. Unpacking stuff that's been sitting since we moved in and started construction over a year ago. I would work my @#$ off trying to get things accomplished. I am in a nesting flurry but by the time the kids go to bed I'm way too shot to possibly do anything, so I just keep getting more behind. I could use like three of these hypothetical energy weekends!

4. Tired and nauseous. I'm really hoping the nausea at least subsides soon. It could be worse, I'm just being a baby.

5. Had my second appointment with the midwife this week. She did an ultrasound again. It's amazing how much the little nugget has changed in just four weeks! S/he isn't a little gummy bear anymore s/he's looking like a little person stretching and wiggling all over the place. Ultrasounds never get old.

QOTW: Wine for sure. Long runs. Sleeping through the night. Doing fun things I couldn't do on the vacation I was just on like parasailing and surfing. Although I can't really complain, just laying on the beach and cooling off in the waves every day was pretty fantastic.

Still fatigued in the afternoons and evenings but otherwise better all around!

Rave: the genetic counselor called last night with my CVS results and they were normal! We also found out that my intuition was right - we're having a boy!

Good days and bad days... did way too much Friday and yesterday so really just taking it easy today.  Pains / discomforts are increasing - but I suppose that is normal.

Next appointment is next Monday - so nothing this week.  Hmm - no rants, raves or milestones this week I think.

Go for a nice long walks around the river and along the Esplanade - without worrying how far away I was from the nearest restroom! And go for a hike.  Eat at my favorite Japanese/Sashimi place, enjoy lots of wine and sake, get some tapas solely for the Jamon Iberico (there are a couple places near us that have that), and go out for brunch(es) where I could have Eggs Benedict and eggs easy over!

A beautiful little girl, 9 and a handsome little lad, 5  No furbabies at the moment.

4. How are you feeling?

No MS whatsoever which is playing a horrible mind game with me.  But I never had MS with my other two, so why start now??  (Although this one is an IVF baby so we fought very hard for this little one I think having some kind of MS would make me stress out less.)

5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?
We had our first U/S today!  So grateful for this life. All the vital components were there: a sac, yolk and our little bean with a HEARTBEAT!!  90 per/minute and measuring at .33  I was especially anxious today because our last pregnancy was not viable...there was just a sac and nothing else.  So it was weighing heavy on my mind the last couple of days.  I am still cautiously optimistic (due to my age) but know this one is a true fighter.  S/he has come a long way to get here...

We have another U/S next week on the 19th and our RE tells us this is a crucial U/S for us and where he wants to see the HB rate increase to 120 per minute..

I have a lot of energy and no MS...and no exercise restrictions.   So that leaves dietary... A nice bottle of Pinot Grigio Santa Margherita maybe that is my only vice in life...but quite honestly at this stage of where I am in my life I really don't care what I may be desiring to have but can't because I am so blessed just to be pregnant again and I pray for this baby's strength each and everyday.

Oh man. I wish i could eat how i normally eat. I like my protein and veggies and limited carbs. Feels like all the little gummy bear wants me to eat is carbs. They sort of keep the nausea at bay sometimes. And so continue to workout evert day would be great. Too tired and nauseous sometimes though so i just do what i can when i can.
