Terrible teething

DS has his 2 bottom teeth cutting through. He will be 6 months on the 16th. Last 3-4 days (especially yesterday and today) he has been so emotional. The poor thing is really hurting. Tylenol didn't do much so I'm not bothering with it. Naps and sleep are both disastrous. Is this going to happen every time a new tooth cuts? I hope this is just because it is the first time experiencing pain like this.
