Trouble TTC a Sibling

Normal FSH results?

I was able to pull my labs from my CD3 FSH testing. It is 7.2.  I Dr. Googled of course and it is saying I am in the normal range.  I am sure the Doc will be calling me soon, but how is that sounding?  I turn 29 in January.

Just trying to get some input from you ladies before I Dr. Google myself to death.

Re: Normal FSH results?

  • Anything under a 10 is considered normal range. Mine was 9.3 and my doctor told me it wasn't a huge concern, but something to keep our eye on. We are still waiting for the results of my 'ovary reserve' test as my RE put it. If that comes back low, than the 9.3 becomes more problematic. Unless your RE says something about it, I would assume you are just fine!

  • Anything under 10 is usually considered normal. Over 10 means your ovaries are working harder to produce a good egg. I would be thrilled with 7.2.

  • AMH is a better predictor of ovarian reserve but if FSH is normal I wouldn't stress over it.
