Store brand versions

Hello! My baby is currently on similac advance and is doing great. We are looking to possibly switch to a store brand to save money. Which brands are similar to similac advance?

Re: Store brand versions

  • Another reason to only start with 1 can is that LO may just not like it.  We were using the Target version of Similac Sensitive and LO was doing fine.  Then we bought the real Similac Sensitive when there was a sale at Target.  Once she tasted that, she would not go back to the Target version.  Of course my child would like the more expensive stuff.

  • I started DD on similac advance, but we switched to Costco's Kirkland formula. The side of the can had a comparison to enfamil and similac, it is closer to similac. We have had no problems, the only thing we've noticed is that it is a little bit foamy.

  • Target advance is supposed to be the same. Not premium, though. It's a blue can.
