Rant!

I know it's pretty common to have sore hips that prevent us from sleeping at this point. Last night was a doozy though. My husband says I was moaning in my sleep, which doesn't surprise me at all. The killer hips combined with the sweating, DD wetting the bed, and three separate nightmares (me, not DD) last night means I slept for about two hours and woke up with a beast of a headache. I know it's a frequently discussed topic, but if anyone has tips for the hip pain, I'm all ears (eyes?). Rant over.

Re: Rant!

  • Yes to the knee pillow, but I think I need to go get a thicker one.

  • I'm with you on the hip pain. Thankfully my nightmares seem to have subsided.

  • I'm so sorry you had such a crappy night. What the other posters said, though. I have no other recommendations. I hope it gets better.
  • I sometimes switch from my side to my "back" except I put a pillow under one hip and torso so I'm still slanted to one side.

I do the same, but on my stomach. i prop up my chest with my regular pillow so I don't squish anything, keep one leg on the knee pillow propped up, and then sort of half sleep on my stomach. I was/am a stomach sleeper, and it's killing me not being able to relax on my tummy.
  • The heating pad thing works wonders for me!
  • I use a huge square pillow, folded in half and jammed up as high as possible between my legs. my top foot just floats in the air. but it's super comfortable. Plus my chiropractor has me wearing my "prenatal cradle" brace all day now. really helped all pelvic pain
