Gift idea help

I was looking on etsy for Christmas gifts for my nieces and nephew and saw these "quiet time" and "busy" boxes. Like filled with shit to keep them quiet or busy.

Then I thought "well I could make that myself."

So my nieces are 4 and 4.5 and my nephew is 1.5.

1. Is this a good gift idea?

2. If so, can you think of some things I can put in there for those ages? They can have different stuff obviously since they're vastly different ages.

I think it's a great idea. A much better idea than getting them a toddler set of drums like my brother did for A last year. I would definitely appreciate a quiet box for the girls!

@lovethatdirtywater‌ suggested everything I was going to suggest as far as toys for the boxes.

I love this idea. I agree with @lovethatdirtywater‌ ideas. You could add little people to the 4 yo too my dd still loves them.

Also the dollar tree has a ton of small quiet toys/puzzles/coloring activities etc. I just bought dd a Barbie, flash cards, and writing paper for her birthday there.

I agree with all the other suggestions.  My daughter loved to do any sort of buckle, button, snap/fastener when she was 1.5.  You could also get some of those lacing cards for the older kid.
