rotating toys

For those of you who do this - how often do you rotate toys? And does your LO stay home or go to daycare of some sort?

I try to do it weekly but it winds up more like twice a month. LO is at daycare during the day though, so even though twice monthly seems to be a bit too infrequently, maybe weekly would be enough.

I don't really "rotate" per se, but I mix up all the bins in the toy room and only pull one out every couple days. So far she finds enough to entertain herself in the bin I pull out, the bigger toys that stay out all the time and the various household stuff that arent really toys but she turns them into her toys. We have 6 bins total.

DD is at DC so I don't really rotate her toys at home. It seems like a really good idea, but she spends so little time in her playroom I don't know if we need to do it. Everyone once in a while I dig around pull things out that were buried at the bottom of bins.
