cold hands

I'm needing some assistance...we are trying to transition dd out of swaddling but her hands are so cold.  her newborn mittens no longer fit.  she currently loves her hands and they are always in her mouth so do i need water resistant ones or will fleece be fine?  what are you other moms doing?

  • My LO gets cold hands at night, too (just like his mommy), but since he seems to be sleeping comfortably we're currently leaving him as-is.  May need to rethink this if he has trouble when winter comes for real.  (But since I'm in Texas that'll be like...February.)

  • I personally wouldn't worry too much about it and would probably just leave the hands a bit cold. However, if you're looking for a solution, they do make gloves in small sizes.
