SS My mother makes both bread stuffing and cornbread stuffing. My stepdad likes bread, but others like cornbread.

  • Rice?! WTAF
@shellbell3845 Wild rice stuffing is a thing, and it's actually really good!  Not our traditional fare, though.

    How is it different from...rice?

I'm sorry, stuffing is bread, and if anyone votes rice I might be forced to GBCB [again].

    1. Rice is not an option. Stuffing = bread. always  #don'tmesswithmybread

bepandnick  and like mixed breads in my stuffing.

    3. Cornbread is also delicious but no one else in my family likes it because they are broken.

  • No. Stuffing is bread based. The only cavity it needs to fill is my belly.

  • Box, specifically StoveTop "chicken" flavor (regardless of the protein being served), though I have branched out and gotten the cornbread variety once.

I tried to make stuffing from the bread cube bags, but I really don't like the flavor.

**My grandmother made a sausage stuffing (not maple sausage, but Idk what kind) and I LOVED it.  I haven't been able to get the recipe out of my aunts since she passed a few years ago.**

  • I make homemade stuffing with bread. It's what I contribute to Thanksgiving dinner every year-my mom's recipe! Thanksgiving just isn't Thanksgiving without it!

  • I mix wheat, rye, and cornbread for my base. Wild rice stuffing is good too though. Just too much work for a day already spent in the kitchen juggling all the different dishes.
