I've heard around 6 months, but I couldn't wait for that so I bought Mill Creek Biotene shampoo and conditioner. It definitely reduced my hair loss!

Mine is improved but still quite a bit. Most of my friends said as long as the breastfed, they lost hair.

I have super thick hair that was about 3 inches below my shoulders. I recently got it cut right above my shoulders because I couldn't take all the hair I was losing. I would get chunks every time I ran my fingers through it. I keep telling DH, I don't understand how I'm not bald!! It still is all over my bed, pillow, floors, and clothes but at least they are shorter!

I'm more concerned with DS's post birth hair loss. He's turning into a middle aged man with a receding hairline. Ugh. At least the two of us can be bald together. Mine has been slowing down a little bit over the past week. Hopefully that means the end is near as we approach six months.

Mine has definitely slowed and we just passed 6 months. It's still coming out just no where near as much!

Mine started around 4/12 months PP - hoping it ends soon. I chopped 5 inches off my hair because of it

Mine is still terrible...and everything that is growing back is a startling shade of silver/grey...

HORRIBLE. Still happening @ 5.5 months. I don't know when it will end. Sometimes it seems like it's slowing down and bam! Next shower there's another handful. I had fine hair to begin with and now I have the hair of a 5 year old. It's so shitty.

Mine just started a few weeks ago I have very long hair to so it's literally everywhere....anyone know that song from taking back Sunday "your hair is everywhere...." Lol my DH sings that to me

January 14 lurker here, my hair is still falling! I called my OBGYN today and they referred me to a dermatologist. I'll try anything, my hair is everywhere and it's so gross.

I can't tell if mine is PP related or IUD related. Definitely going to OBGYN to check.

I have hair that is almost to my waist and was super thick. It has thinned out so much. Even DH is worried that I am losing too much hair. I don't remember it being this bad with first LO. I'm keep my hair up in a bun/ponytail now and wash 2-3 times weekly to minimize handling in hopes that it helps.

My hair is a disaster. Shedding like crazy, and also it is dry and break-y. DS pulls it in fistfuls. Thinking a bob is in order.

LO is just over six months and I have noticed it is starting to slow down a little better.  Still losing, but not nearly as much as the last couple of months.  Now I have this lovely fuzz where it is growing back that you can really notice when I have my hair pulled back.  Seems worse this time than with my first two, but maybe I just don't remember.

LO will be 6 months next week and over the past few weeks I feel like my hair loss is closer to normal. I have really thick hair so I've always had hair loss but after baby it was crazy!
