Good morning!

Are you new to TTCAL? Have you been here quite some time? Got a question that you want to ask but don't want to start a new thread?

Ask us anything! Please, no questions about whether you can be pregnant or not! We can't answer that so please don't bother.

Now, was this someone from TTCAL?
ETA: unless this person meant that they were 8w2days. Some women who don't understand how the cycle works may say they are 4w2days when they are in fact passed 8 weeks because they calculate from the time their period was due which is 100% incorrect.

I've got one. I started temping a week or two ago and I've ordered OPK's. My loss was discovered on 10/2, took cytotec and passed the majority of everything on 10/6. Had a D&C 11/3 for a small piece of retained tissue. My betas were 33 on 10/29.
When would you start using OPK's? Once a day or twice? Is there any point until I have a regular period? I know its possible that I'll ovulate before I actually get a period. But I also know that my cycle might be all over the place for a while.
I would POAS once a day in the afternoon to watch the line getting darker.
@negritosmami - I missed that post over there I think but I would give that one a major side eye. Was it one of those posters who posted and then mysteriously disappeared?

What @ktlovess said and...
Are you still bleeding? My OB did not start watching my levels go down until I was still bleeding after two weeks.

I did have an ultrasound the day after the MC. He said it "looked like" everything was gone and that I just had blood to pass. But idk why they didn't do any labs or want me to come back. Did you have any symptoms of anything when you retained the tissue?

@scout336 that's what I'm afraid of.
@ktlovess I imagine it would be upsetting and scary!
@GLB30 I am only "slightly" bleeding now. Light-period style at exactly 1 week from passing baby.
***thanks ladies....y'all are amazing. I believe I will call and see what he says.
Oh and all of this made me think of this:

All are Welcome!
As pp said, yes, request a blood draw.
My last mc was heavy for a week. During the OB physical exam on day 2 of it, she thought she got out the baby from sitting on my cervix. It went to light for week 2. Then, it got heavy again week 3. I finally passed the baby on day 26 and stopped bleeding on day 28. Wearing a pad for 28 days is no fun, so have them check.
If you are still bleeding, even spotting, they need to check since it likely means you still have a level. Have you poas to check at home? Keep us updated.
