Day 3 after ER with scheduled day 5 transfer

Hi. I'm new to this board but I was hoping to find some ladies that are in there ER stage waiting to hear how their embryos are doing and how many of them are going to make it to day 5 blast, it's so nerve racking waiting to find our the results. My current stats are - 32 egg retrieved, 30 mature/ icsi was done, day 1- 25 fertilized, now I have to wait until Thursday day 3 for our next update to see how they are progressing. Praying for good quality embryos. I have a current day 5 ET scheduled for this Saturday! Hoping to hear from others in this horrible waiting period. Thanks

Welcome! It looks like you had ER the same day as me. Congrats on a great fert report! Are you sore from having such a good response? I am doing a 3DT due to a study I'm in. Definitely check out the tiny turkey check-in. Good luck!

Oh how exciting, so you transfer will be tomorrow then? Good luck to a successful transfer and outcome. The wait is the worst isn't it. I  haven't always had a good retrieval report. Actually this will be our 5th IVF cycle and we've had two FET after our 4th cycle, we finally got a BFP our last FET which were our last two embryos back in 2010 . I've had two cycles where I didn't get anything that made it to day 5 transfer so I'm praying for a good call from the embryologist tomorrow that our embryos are continuing to progress well. I'm actually feeling fine after my retrieval just mild cramping and bloating, I'm sure some of it is due to all the meds we are on as well. I did post on the tiny turkey board after you told m eabout it (thank you again) I haven't received any replies yet so hopefully I posted correctly. Are you active on that board?

Also you mentioned you are in a study group, what are the advantages of that and how do you get involved in somethign like that. I'm just curious how that works, I would love to be apart of a study group for this.

Sometimes questions get lost in the tiny turk check-in, there's so many posts. The study I'm in is for a program called Eeva. It's a time lapse video of embryo development instead of just the embryologist looking at it. My hospital is the only one currently doing a study on it. Clinics in Europe use it and maybe some in the US, but they charge about $1000 for it. I'm in a study, so I get it for free.
