Had a miscarriage at 14 weeks

Sadly, I had a miscarriage yesterday at 14 weeks & 5 days, almost 15weeks! It all happened so fast, all in one day. I started cramping yesterday morning w/ bright red blood & hours later water broke, clots, painful contractions then suddenly I passed the baby, all at home. I passed everything, & later went to the hospital, where I brought my tiny baby with me in a zip lock bag, they said they where going to take him to their lab. It was a boy for sure I'm so sad, everything was going good at my 13 weeks ultrasound & now this....I was so happy to be pregnant & now I have to go through this hard loss & start all over again I'm so jealous of all the mothers who had healthy pregnancies, why couldn't that be me?

I am so sorry for your loss and the unimaginable pain you must be going through. It is such a traumatic and heartbreaking event and it takes a while to even be able to function again. There is a support message board for miscarriages and early loss under the specialty board section here that you may want to visit for addition support and to just talk to some people who can relate. Huge hugs to you and be kind to yourself.

I'm so sorry for your loss.  I too had a miscarriage at 14 weeks and delivered my little boy.  It was the most painful experience of my life.  Please be kind to yourself.

Wow. This happened to my mother when she was pregnant before she had me at 15 weeks. She also had to bring her little baby to the hospital. Im so sorry, I can't imagine how you feel right now She had 3 healthy babies afterwards so try to stay positive, although I know thats probably hard right now.

Thank you. Sorry about your loss also, its a terrible thing to experience. & its nice to know about your concern, sorry I couldn't update on my status. I was stressed & going through a lot prior miscarriage. Since the miscarriage, i'm starting to accept & come to terms with my loss, though its not easy. Hopefully my next pregnancy will be a success.
