So DD is 8 weeks old. We have a nb stash of mostly prefolds. They have been working great. But I go back to work in 3 weeks. DC will only do pockets/AIO's not prefolds. I don't know exactly how much DD weighs but probably about 11 lbs. My OS stash is mostly BG's. I have tried BG's a few times and she always leaks from the legs even though they seem to have a tight fit. I am using the big insert on the smallest setting. My question is do I wait it out and hope she fits the BG's in 3 weeks or should I get some pockets that fit in the meantime. I think I would only need about 5 (I have some pockets now). I would hate to buy more and have her fit the BG's in a week. Thanks ladies!

BGs should start fitting around 10 lbs, so she ought to fit them any time now.  Play more with the fit.  Do you have snaps or aplix?  If it's snaps, you can snap them unevenly, tighter on the bottom to get tight around the legs, looser on top to give more belly room.  Or since you already have prefolds, try stuffing with a prefold to see if that works better. 
Unfortunately, not every type of diaper works for every type of baby.  BGs just might not work for your LO.  They do seem to be one of the more universally well fitting diapers though, so keep trying!  And remember, a baby will change a LOT in 3 weeks.

I agree with TJ on trying a prefold instead of the big BG insert.  Those things are bit bulky on the smallest setting  & are maybe causing leg gaps. 

Do you have any other OS diapers in your stash?  Best Bottoms, Grovia, and Rumparooz fit my son a bit earlier than BG did. 

If none of that works, consider getting some Kawaii Pure & Naturals.  They are a sort of in between NB and OS diaper that is inexpensive.  They usually last until 15-20 pounds, so you could get quite a bit of use out of them for your money.
