Eh... Crap... I started spotting this morning... Well, probably yesterday if I'm honest with myself.  So I am pretty sure we're out.  DH and I were both so super positive this was our cycle so this is a hard blow.  We'll go on Femara next and see what happens from there.  I can't decide if/when I want to move to IUI/IVF... 

QOTW - I'm not really having a hard time adjusting... I even got that wonderful extra hour of sleep on Saturday night which most of my friends on FB are griping they didn't... LOL.  It's hard to leave the office when it's pitch black outside though.

Thanks for the check-in @rmpar29  . How are you doing? You think you will O next week?

Yeah, I am totally sick and FF is going bananas because of it. :-& I felt O pains the day FF shows I O'd so I am glad that is consistent. Not sure why Wondfos and CBFM thought otherwise. Not really in the TWW since I was away when I O'd and we have no chance this cycle. (unless FF is wrong, of course). Really fucking sucks, honestly. I am dreading the holidays since last year I was KTFU and was dreaming of how this year would be with a LO, but that's not the way it turned out and I HATE that. =(( Makes TTC just so much harder.


@MrsG80inTN -- I am so so sorry. HUGS!!!



QOTW: Any problems adjusting to the time change?

Not too sure. Everyone (including the dog) is sick and we have not had much sleep either way.

Thanks for the check-in @rmpar29!  How is the first month back going?  Is next week your likely fertile window?

@MrsG80inTN, I'm so sorry it looks like you're out this cycle.  I'm glad you're moving onto Femara though and hope it works better for you than Clomid.  FX that Femara is the ticket for you and you won't even have to ponder the IUI/IVF question!

AFM, I'm doing pretty well.  I should O this week, hopefully before the weekend because DH will be out of town.  I've ovulated on CD 15 the past couple of cycles, so that means Thursday will hopefully be the day and I won't have to stress about optimal timing with DH gone.  And then I'll wait to see whether last cycle's 8 day LP or the previous cycle's 11 day LP was the fluke and decide whether or not to make an appointment and whether I want that appointment to be with my OB or an RE.  And now I'm realizing that I didn't even stop to contemplate the possibility of a pregnancy instead of this cycle ending with AF.  Good grief, that's sad.  Stupid secondary infertility brain...

Forgot my QOTW and I can't edit my previous post for some reason:  No real problems for me adjusting to the time change but I agree that the dark evenings are throwing me off.  Man I'm dreading winter and all the darkness and cold...

@kittymeowbark, I'm so sorry you're out this cycle and that you won't be pregnant for Thanksgiving.  ((hugs)) to you, lady.  I hope Christmas/Hanukkah will be a different story.

@MrsG80inTN - Oh honey, I'm so sorry!  Sending you lots of love and (((((HUGS)))))).  I know that IUIs can increase your chances of conceiving each cycle, but I'm not sure how it's going to help you with your losses.  IVF could help if they are due to chromosomal issues.   I hope that the Femara helps.  I hope that you see an increase in your follies and maybe FF will detect your O on Femara.  I wish I had some answers for you sweetie!

@kittymeowbark - I'm sorry that your timing was not right this cycle.  Oing that late certainly screwed things up.  I hope AF comes soon so you can move on.  I know what you mean about the holidays.  Even though I was due with my twin boys in Jan they would've been here by Christmas.  It's so hard forgetting those images that we had in our heads.  So many (((((HUGS)))))

AFM: Yes, I should O later this week or early next.  I took an OPK this morning and it's still very light, so I have some time. 

QOTW: I definitely didn't get that hour of sleep either.  My household hasn't been sleeping well at all, but whether it's due to the time change or other factors, who knows!

@CheesyPeas - So sorry that you are thinking the worst for this cycle.  FX that you O in the next couple days so you will have optimal timing.  I really hope that the 8-day LP was just a fluke!

@CFearsy - So sorry that you are back here love.  Of course I will be happy to add you in here.  I hope you get some answers at your appointment next week!

Hey everyone.
Af arrived yesterday. I was at my mom s and Suddenly nearly passed out and got horrible sick to my stomach along with really bad cramps. I was sick all night but finally keeping liquids down. I'm seriously hoping that this month will be our miracle month. If not I think we will be taking very long break.

@agpjt413 - I'm so sorry for your loss.  Are you having a D&C?  Are you seeing an RE?

@towncargirl - So sorry honey!  That sounds like a pretty bad start to AF.  Have you felt like that before when AF came?  Maybe you should call your OB anyway.

@Cfearsy - Yeah... we had a talk with the doc last week... He thinks we should move to IUI/IVF, but can't tell us that they will help with early losses like we've had so we are hesitant to move there.  I want to try one cycle on Femara by myself to see how my body responds to it without anything else so I'll know... I'm sorry that you find yourself back here.  I hope that you get answers soon.

Crap!  Sorry that she showed with such a vengeance.  Hoping this next month is a good one for both of us.

Thanks guys. I've had several cycles where I threw up cause the cramps etc were so bad but I'm gonna try and see if my ob can fit me in cause this was by far the worst. I called in sick to work and am being a couch potato all day.

@towncargirl - yeah - that sucks... Have you ever been checked for endometriosis?  I've never quite had to throw up, but by bad period symptoms were part of why they thought I had it (which I did).

@agpjt413 - I would suggest getting in to see an RE.  Three years TTC is a long time and it might be time to get checked out. 

@towncargirl - I hadn't even thought about Endo.  That would certainly explain your very painful periods.  I hope that you are able to see your OB soon. 

@KatyF0813 - There are many women here that didn't have bleeding, and even ovulated with retained tissue.  I would definitely push to get b/w done.  Welcome to the check-in, but I'm sorry that you have to join us.

@agpjt413 - I'm very sorry for everything you've been through in the last few years.  Most RE's will see you after 12 months of actively trying or 3 losses. However, being AMA (advanced maternal age) brings that number down to 6 months.  If you charted for a year I would say you have met that criteria.  Did you have average-length cycles with definite O temp shifts?

@agpjt413 - I'm glad that you are finding the support here that you need.  There's many of us here that have been down the RE route so you end up going down that road we are here to help.  Yes, charting is the best way to see what your body is doing.  If you end up with irregular cycles then you should definitely get in to see a specialist.  This community is wonderful.  I couldn't have made it through the last 16 months without everyone here.
