Anyone with an initial 26 for 1st Beta Hcg but still ended up doubling and successfull?? Feeling sad

Just went for m y beta Hcg this morning at 9dp5dt. The nurse called me 4hrs later saying that they wanted my beta at 50 or above at least on the first test and  my beta was 26. She further stated,  "when betas are this low it is often (but not always) mean the pregnancy is not vigerous".
  I am blessed to have a 41/2 year old beautiful, healthy son from my fresh IVF in 2009.
Did two FET's in 2014 where one resulted in a chemical and the other no h/b at 6 1/2 weeks.
this is now my third FET attempt and I feel so devastated that we are already off to a bad start. I have to retest on weds because they want to see it double. However, i feel so angry and frustrated at everything I have been through not to mention the emotional stress my husband and I have endured. I, honestly,  do not know what to expect on my second beta. To tell you I am hopefull? Prob not.... But has anyone ever had a low 1st beta that ended up doubling and being just fine???? No one understands how i feel and I think that if it was not for these support boards it would be a harder and a tougher road to walk...........Any hope or advice or even success stories would mean a lot. I dont know when this will ever work for me :(

    I don't have personal experience but I have seen low betas double and end with a healthy pregnancy and baby. I hope that's the case for you and I imagine that has to be so hard.

    I do know that @stl34 had an extremely low first beta, I mean like a 3.  She went on to have a healthy baby.  Hopefully she will chime in!  Good luck to you!  Sending you mega doubling vibes!

    3/4/13 measuring right on track beautiful heartbeat 171 bpm, graduated from RE to OB... bittersweet.

    11/13 beta #1  924!!!  2nd bet 11/15 1906, one more on 11/17 3rd & final beta 3430.  First u/s 12/5, 7w4d, 2 heartbeats,
    both measuring right on track....2nd u/s... all is well... both beans measuring right on track... released from RE... first
    appointment with MFM 1/5.  Looks like this is really happening!

    I have never had a beta above 16 to start. My LO was from a beta that started at 13. Good luck!

    My first beta was earlier than yours but technically negative at 3 (must be higher than 5 to qualify as pregnant).  My second was at 13dp2dt (so a day later than yours) and was 29.  My clinic wasn't too hopeful for me at that point but gave me a 50-50 shot.  The rest of my betas are in my signature.  I did a total of 4 betas and when I broke 100 we schedule my ultrasound.  I now have a 2.5 year old.  

    I will say that while my RE's office only gave me a 50-50 shot after my second beta, the RI I was working with was super hopeful for me and provided me with some much needed encouragement and support.  He called me when he read my email freaking out about my betas and helped to calm me down and encouraged me to embrace being pregnant. He told me that as long as my HCG was going up, there was much to be hopeful about and that I should not worry about my initial betas being too low because that did not matter.

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN

    My betas with DD are in my siggy, 10dp5dt, I was at 21. RE likes to see anything over 20. Not too many folks (outside of my RE and his nurse) were positive about my situation, but it did work out. Hang in there!

    2/12-5/12: 4 IUI cycles = all BFN;
    7/12: DE IVF # 1 (with ICSI)- 20R, 16M, 14F, 5DT of 2 blasts; 6 frosties = BFN;
    Lupus anticoagulant initially high, then found to be normal on hematology consult;
    Follow up testing in September all clear;
    Started synthroid for "high normal" TSH;
    FET # 1- late October 2012- BFP on FRER; beta # 1- 21(low), beta # 2- 48 (still low), beta # 3- 132, beta # 4- 1,293; beta # 5- 5,606; last beta- over 100,000. First u/s 11/21- heard heartbeat
    12/12- Officially an OB patient!
    Level 2 ultrasound at 20 weeks shows vasa previa and VCI
    Referral to MFM and mandatory c section for delivery
    Beautiful baby girl born at 34 weeks
    Finally home after 15 day NICU stay!
    Trying for sibling: FET # 2- May 2014; beta 5/31, BFN
    FET #3, early July 2014; beta 7/14, BFN
    DE IVF # 2- August 2014; 14R, 13M, 11F, 5dt of 2 blasts (3 AA), 5 frosties = BFN
    FET #4- December 2014, yet another BFN

    Dr. KK work up shows borderline uterine blood flow, elevated NK cells, and MTHFR mutation (homozygous for c677t)

    Added baby aspirin, prednisone, supplements, Metanx, and intralipids

    Switched to large clinic for final attempt; had endometrial receptivity testing in January; FET March 2015 = yet another BFN

    Likely OAD- NBC

    We are pregnant again after two losses. I opted out for the blood test and I go back November 20 to see the heart beat. A friend of mine was told she was going to lose because of her levels and her daughter is 2 years old and healthy :)

    Just got my result for 2nd beta, it came back at 10 and it dropped. Dr told me to stop meds......so, so , so disappointed.......third failed FET and totally lost about what to do.....we have 1 6d embryo left, any encouragement appreciated......wish all of you the best of luck through this infertility hell

    I'm so very sorry to hear this.  Be kind to yourself.  Take the time you need to grieve.  This journey that we all find ourselves on is not a pleasant one.  But success DOES happen.  It took my 5 fresh (never had any frosties) and 2 m/c before we got our DD....  a rough road traveled but one I would do again in a second.  Sending you lots of hugs.
