We have Eden on our list for a boy, since DH is a Chelsea fan. I know in Europe it's pronounced ED-en and it's more popular for males in Europe, but I'm worried that it's too girly for the US. I know how The Bump feels about masculine names for girls, and Eden strikes me as a feminine name for a boy. Do you think it would be rough?
It's the only Ed- name we're considering and although it's not number one (we also have Lucas, Silas, and Vincent), DH really likes it and I've grown fond of it.
Re: "Girly" boy name
While I believe it's technically a unisex name, it's trending so heavily for girls. I probably wouldn't use it, but I am sure several posters might disagree.
