I made it to work almost on time today. Both my kids were dressed & had their coats. I don't think I have snot, spit up, or breakfast stuck to my work clothes.
IMMS that N finally pooped in the potty last night. He had been holding it for 2 days and was on the verge of a nervous breakdown bc he was afraid to go. Right before bed he asked to go pee (again) and started freaking out as soon as he sat down (again). I got him distracted long enough that his body finally relaxed. When it was all over, he was so excited and proud of himself. I am really hoping this will get him over his poop anxiety.
**gross warning**

Can you come do this for my kid?
She's been doing really good about peeing on the potty, but we've had two accidents with poop in her underwear.
Am I wrong sending her in a diaper to daycare until we resolve this issue? Or should we just put caution to the wind and go with underwear full time (except naps and bedtime).
@sarenu1 We've been having lots of poop in the underwear. It sucks. N has basically been terrified over the whole issue for weeks now, and it has been really hard not to add to his anxiety with my frustration.
IMMS that I found sensory activities that keep L entertained for a while. He'll play with a toy for a minute, but then he runs around most of the time. We played with homemade playdough, cornstarch and water, shaving cream in the shower, and puffballs in cups and he loved all of them!
IMMS that E had a good 9 month well visit today. She's gained weight, her motor skills are catching up, and her reflux has been good lately.
Also, we leave for our trip in just over a week!
Oh, and I always love Christmas but this year is going to be extra awesome because of E. I took down all my Halloween decorations on the weekend and the house is ready for Christmas!

Did u try the glitter?
Yes! I thought I posted about it. He loves putting glitter in the toilet, and he went like that once (when I caught him mid-poo).
IMMS that we're getting new carpet installed tomorrow! We haven't put furniture in the kids' rooms or our family room because we didn't want to have to move it out again for the install. After tomorrow the real settling in starts
IMMS that M and I just walked to the grocery store, I got a peppermint latte, he slept while I shopped, and he just woke up right before we got home all smiles and laughs. I sure love my Monday's home with him.
V has started giving real kisses. Not the open mouth slobber on your cheek kind of kisses anymore, but puckers his lips, puts them on your cheek, and smacks you with a not slobbery kiss. It's especially precious when he kisses G.
I missed this but I'll join in. IMMS that M now has goofy little teeth when she grins. Although it makes me a little sad too because she's growing up. It's amazing how they seem to change overnight. We have 5 teeth now, working on #6. I love her smile, it lights up the whole world. :x
