@Mary97 yes - I do remember the two person task of baths now that you mention it - I would wash DD and DH would sit in the big bathtub right by her little tub and try to calm and help hold her!
I hope she ougrows it quickly. Unfortunately I can't remember when DD did, but I think by the time she was sitting well enough to sit in the big tub she was fine with baths.
@mary97 , I don't know if this would help for your LO, but for a bit mine got a little scared if she couldn't see the water coming or control it.
One of the things that helped us is to let her approach water and play with it, not at bath time. Like, letting her hang out in the kitchen while I washed dishes, then if she was interested in what I was doing, made sure the water is baby-safe temperature and lifted her up so she could reach out and play with the water.
Also, during bath time, we play the same soothing music that is part of her goodnight routine.
Hope bath time becomes less painful for you and LO soon.
