Team Baby Gate here, @elf828‌. It's super inconvenient. But necessary to keep LO safe. I'm sorry you've had a bad afternoon. Could you talk to your vet about the dog? Or bring a trainer to your house?

@elf828 (((hugs))) sorry you guys had a fight. FX you all get a lot of sleep tonight and you can revisit the gate issue tomorrow. Does your H have an alternative to gates?
It seems like a lot of Hs could use a TP or two. Mine is excluded today because he has hardly been home!

DH just reminded me he won't be home until 10pm tomorrow. Then he got all snippy because I sighed. I told him that it wasn't fair for him to get an attitude with me. I never leave him for 14+ hours with LO, and I bend over backwards so he can do everything he wants to. Meanwhile, when I get a free hour, I go to Aldi. I'm so tired, I'm so hurt, and I'm feeling awful because I'm dreading being lo's only parent tomorrow, especially because clingy, teething hot fussy mess. DH has gotten the message to stay away from me.

Hugs, @shellbell3845. You're absolutely right, that's not fair. 14 hours is a LONG day with a fussy baby.

I didn't tell him it wasn't fair for him to leave me alone all day. I told him it wasn't fair for him to get upset and snippy with me. I just want to make that clear. Because I'm not a bitch wife.

Something personal. He'll work all day and then go do one of his hobbies for several hours. I fully support him doing things he enjoys doing, but it is so hard on me sometimes.

My H is going on and on and on about work and I have no idea what he's saying but I'm nodding along and periodically going "mm-hmm" and "oooohh." It's something about a man named Wilton, too much rice in his jambalaya, and India Night.

How's he liking the new job?

He loves it! They are much busier, which he likes, and he can definitely see himself there long term. His hours/shifts are kind of annoying (like he works weekends, and sometimes 5:30am - 2pm, or 1pm - 9:30pm) but overall it's going really well.

Ugh. Lo is sick and teething.

I'm confused at what to do right now. She's motrin'd up with a belly full of milk. She keeps calming down in bed for 1-2 mins...then fusses/cries for another minute...repeat. I don't know if I should go in or not as she does calm down for a minute...wah. Poor thing keeps coughing in there .

@BlueDot818 Almost all of DD's are turds which does seem kinda strange to me since i dont remember DS being like that. I'm just going with it since they aren't super hard or anything.
I'm glad to hear others' are like that too.

@bluedot818 yep turds here too. Since about a week ago. The first time it happened he cried. I googled it and apparently it's common for babies to get scared of the new sensation. Ahem. It's hard being a baby. :-?
