I will have to have a C-section with this baby...any moms that are having a c-section know how it works the second time around? I haven't been to my appt. yet to ask any questions and looked up a couple things on Dr. Google. Do you get an epidural? Do they just give something else to numb your lower half? How does it all work:
A scheduled CS is a breeze with regard to the actual procedure. When I had both of mine, you just show up at the scheduled time (you can't eat or drink after midnight or some similar time based upon the time of your procedure). They put me in a room, all the nurses and anesthesia team came in and introduced themselves, they started the IV, had me walk down to the operating room, did a spinal block which takes effect pretty quickly, so then you lay right down on the table. After that, you can't really feel anything from the breasts down. They then put in the catheter. My DH was allowed to come in at that point, and then the surgery began. Shortly after, we had our new bundle of joy! GL!

Absolutely in love with our 'big' family!
I'm also a proud Auntie to a crazy little girl, her brand new baby sister, a little man on his way in the next month, and a sweet little mister we will miss forever!!!
