I am a first time mom and am getting induced on Wednesday... I was hoping some of you second time moms could share your experience with me...what to expect...would you get induced again if you had the choice...share anything..

I was induced last time and would not choose to again. My body definitely wasn't ready and labor took 28 hours. The pitocin made the contractions unbelievably painful from the second it was put in my IV. It took me forever to progress and I wasn't able to get an epidural until I was 4 cm dilated which took 24 of those 28 hours. I feel lucky that I wasn't pressured into a c-section though and was able to deliver vaginally. I'm avoiding induction like the plague this time around, unless of course it's absolutely necessary for LO's safety. This is just my experience with induction though, plenty of other mom's have had better experiences I'm sure.
