I see someone posted a similar post a little ways down, but I've been perusing CL and some swapping sites to start building a stash. I'm wondering if you would consider this a good deal? P.S. I posted once before about something else and y'all gave great feedback, but I'm a total newb to CD.

It depends on what condition they are in. If the pul, elastic, or aplix (if the covers have it) are shot, then it's not a good deal. I'm not sure what their "special laundry detergent" is. It could be their concoction that isn't any good or worse, actually bad for the diapers.
While $5 per diaper (not counting the extra bloomers and detergent) sounds like a good deal, I would be leery of it. BG released the 4.0 version in 2010, so these are already probably old diapers. Even if they were only used for 14 months, if they weren't stored properly the PUL and elastic could be in bad shape. Also from what I have read 3.0s were only available in aplix, and BG aplix just sucks. For about the same price, you could get new Alva or Kawaiis and probably wind up with better diapers. Also, the general consensus around here is that you're best bet is to try a variety of styles and brands to see what you like before committing to getting a lot of one particular kind of diaper.
Re: Deal or No deal?
She did say she had just replaced all the elastic.
