4 week old on Nutramigen

Hello, sorry tmi. We put my daughter on nutramigen 3 days ago and since then her stools has been loose & watery. It does have some consistency, but it does leak out of diapers. She only goes shout 2 to 3 times about day, and it's not a strange color or anything. She seems to be tolerating it so much better than other formulas, just this is the only issue. Any advice, or anyone go through something similar.?

Yes, the hypoallergenic formulas are known to cause loose stools and as long as she isn't going too much then it is ok.  You are actually very luck that her poop doesn't stink!  Nutramigen gave our son horrible diarrhea - he is going 8-10 times a day and the poop smells horrible.  Like nothing you've smelt before.

I'm trying to transition him to RTF alimentum and see if he poops less on that.  Today is the first day of 50/50 mix and he seems to be doing better.  I hate playing formula roulette!

We had the same issue with our LO but after about two weeks it became more thick like and she was going less frequently good luck to you

Thank you both. We actually just transitioned to Allimentum, hopefully this does the trick. She was having too much projectile vomiting with nutramigen.

My DS is in alimentum had loose watery bright yellow stools for 2 weeks pretty much EVeRY feeding now it's more normal and 1-3x a day
