Omg! Im dying for a corny dog but I haven't been eating it. Some articles said pregnant should avoid hotdogs because of Listeria bacteria, is it really ok to eat it?

I'm sure we will go there for happy hour, we go every Friday. The sonic is right by my sons school, it's torture. I'll have to get at least 1 to ward off the urges to eat all candy I'll be passing out

I'm going to have a pot of chili for hot dogs at home, because that's just what I was always taught to cook for Halloween. It's just not a corn dog.

Because you can get it together in the morning and let it sit in the crock pot all day. Halloween is crazy with little ones getting them dressed and trick or treating. It's just easy!!


I don't have little ones anymore but it's what my mom did and I've always done. My neighbors have little ones and they eat at my house too.

Mmmmmm, Sonic!  I miss it so much!  When we lived in Idaho we had one right down the road.  Now that we are in CA, the closest one is about an hour and a half away.

My doctor said things like hotdogs and bacon are ok but should only be eaten once a week, and she said that wasn't a pregnant rule that's something you should always go by lol. Bacon only once....? Yeaaaaah..

I have a sonic 5 min from my house though so that may make it tough.

Yes they are deep fried. I LOVE when you get to the end and there is that crunchy pieces. Sometimes I'm afraid I may eat the stick.

Glad I'm not the only one. So good! I'm kind of mad at myself I let DH eat the one I brought home for later.

I ate 2 at sonic, I wasn't even attempting to take a chance and bring it home. I'm selfish. :-)
