Your pitties are beautiful! Once DH and I are ready to get another one (we swore to each other a long time ago that we would ALWAYS have a pit) we're going to try and get a blue or a reverse brindle blue. Actually know a breeder here in KC that breeds blues and they are amazing... but I can't stand the idea of buying one. Don't shop... adopt!!
L-R: Pickle (my most beautiful baby girl), Wally (my baby boy who has my heart), Pepper (my other baby boy who has me wrapped around his finger) and Franklin (daddy's boy!)
Thanks! I used to walk her on the leash regularly before my son was born; DH and I would walk together with the dog and cat in the mornings before work. After DS was born, I stayed home and Nelly got out of practice of walking. I started taking her in the stroller (she liked that and I liked it because she was kind of slow on the leash) when I would walk with DS but she stopped liking that all of a sudden. Now, I just put the leash on her and put her in the yard on a long lead line. I don't trust her with the cars in the neighborhood so I don't want to let her roam free. She LOVES being outside and is always clamoring to be out there.

Here's my babies! On the left is Fiona, she's a mix of terrier something. She's spunky, feisty and runs the house!! On the right is Dingo! He's a pit mix. He's a ditzy dog if I've ever seen one! Literally runs into walls from time to time. He's wonderful. They are both major cuddlers! And I love it! They get along most of them time. As long as Dingo remembers that it's Fiona's house, we just all live in it.

Wow - a leashed AND strollered cat. I am not sure whether I am totally impressed or freaked out. She must not be sure whether she is a cat, a dog or a baby.
Then again, my Nellie has identity issues too. Ha.These animals, I tell you...
I didn't realize your dog was named Nellie too! How cute! The first time my Nelly rode in the stroller was a complete accident on my part. I didn't realize she was in the little pouch under the seat until 20 minutes into my walk and she all of a sudden jumped out of the stroller! Crazy animals.

Haha! You're welcome to babysit my little attention whores anytime!
Gladly! I actually love animals, but after my cat passed away a few years ago from cancer, I never got a new one and then got too busy to care for one. Hopefully once baby #3 arrives, I can get a pet for all the kids (and myself) to enjoy.
I'm sorry to hear about your kitty. My childhood cat got diabetes in her old age and it was so terrible to see them go out like that. Has your son been asking for a pet? He seems like the age to start asking and "swearing" he'll take care of it!
Thank you. I had that kitty for 12 years, so it wasn't easy on me. I miss him all the time.
Yes-- my son is asking for a pet. Specifically-- a cat or a hamster. I think I would be more apt to get a cat.
