help!

I had bloodwork/ultrasound yesterday on CD4.  They called this morning and left a message - estrodial is at 142 and I have a 16mm follicle, so they think I am ovulating, so have relations tonight and come in tomorrow.  That was it.  So here are my issues:

I am ovulating this early in my cycle and noone seems in the slightest concerned.

Also, I am scheduled to have an HSG tomorrow, and I don't think I am supposed to have that done while ovulating, right?

Why is my nurse leaving a nonchalant message that doesn't address these issues???

ETA:  spoke to nurse again.  They want me to go in for another ultrasound today to make sure I am ovulating.  Very unusual to ovulate this early given my age.  She said I had a choice: have relations tonight and cancel the HSG, or don't and continue with the test.  At this point, I think I just want this damn test over and to get more information because I feel so out of control over my body.

    Wow, that's strange!

My mind also went straight to cyst like @lemonliz said. A follie and estrogen sounds like it could be a cyst.

Makes sense to go forward with the HSG if you can.

Thank everyone!  Sadly, this cycle is a wash.  I had to go back today.  They are pretty confident I am ovulating and it is not a cyst.  On to the HSG test, and then I will just try to relax and enjoy having a cycle off.

What day do you normally ovulate on? I am surprised at how early it is and am curious about what your doctor will say about it. I am sorry that the cycle is a bust, but I hope you get good results from the HSG.

Also, inconsiderate, rude or nonchalant nurses are the worst!

@mshandlebar  I am typically an early ovulator - any time between day 11 and 13.  But certainly not CD 4 or 5!!  I suspect I have ovulated this early before, just based on the fact that before I went to an RE, I would do OPK tests, and one month I didn't think I ovulated because I never showed an LH surge.  Looking back, I wonder if I did ovulate, but it was before I started testing that cycle.

I have to say I had a moment where I was very sad that yet another month will go by with no BFP, but I'm now trying to focus on the break from the progesterone and the worrying and waiting.
