Time change

Are you ladies doing anything different this week to prepare for the time change? I've heard of putting your LO to bed 15 mins later each night to make up the hour by Sunday. I've heard they adjust pretty easily in most cases. Let's face it it's dead around here so trying to start something to talk about.

  • I am just going to put her to sleep the usual time. I hate the time change.

  • No matter what time I put her to bed she always wakes at the same times MOTN. Hopefully she adjusts quickly!

  • I was planning to do 15 minutes later each night, but DD must be going through a growth spurt or something, because her bedtime has slowly gotten earlier this week instead. She's a baby that you CANNOT let get overtired or she's up all. night. long. Not worth it. She usually goes down at 8 and gets up at 7/7:30, but last night she was asleep at 7:15 and still woke up at 7:15 this morning. So, plan b is I'm just going to wing it and see what happens.
  • I think we'll do 15 min later tonight and maybe 15 min later tomorrow night and Saturday night and see what happens. Hoping this doesn't mean wake up time is at 4am instead of 5am.

  • I was thinking about putting DS to bed 15 min later every day this week, but nope didn't work. DS is sooooo damn tired after daycare I hate to keep a tired crabby baby up. I honestly think they will adjust eventually, might take them a few days.
  • We just got back from a weekend trip where we were in a new time zone and Patrick adjusted well enough.

I figure we'll deal with it when it happens.

  • I'm scared but I'm just winging it! Maybe he'll only wake once in the night?

  • Lo has decided to go to bed an hour and a half later every night this week. So he should be back on track after the time change.
  • We got home late on Friday, so I had been putting DD down about 30 minutes later than normal since then preparing for Sunday.  However, last night DD was really tired and went to bed 30 minutes earlier than normal.  So, my prepping didn't work.  I am hoping she adjusts quickly.
