Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Since telling my FI about how my procedure went the other day and that a minor septum was removed which is what may have been causing our issues, it seems like reality is hitting him. We have a lot of talking to do and may put TTC on hold. I am going to finish with this cycle and all my testing and see what happens. A little frustrated.
GTKY: Let's hear your most embarrassing story: I was seeing some guy. We went on a date, went back to his house and has some really good sex. Well, I had a cough. After we were done, I had a coughing fit. While I was coughing I let out a huge fart. That was our last date.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Feeling pathetic and emotional today. I started using OPKs yesterday, my test this morning is even lighter than yesterday's, moving in the wrong direction here. Is it bad that I took a moment to daydream about my OPK being a HPT, and imagining what it would feel like to see those two lines? - even though it was a squinter this morning. Ugh, patience is not my strong suite. I know I'm only in cycle 3. My husband came into the bathroom this morning and saw me using the OPK, to which I responded "My insides are broken!" in an emotional fit. Alright self, it's only CD 13 (although I was hoping I would O earlier this month than previous months), there's still plenty of time. Put your big girl panties on. Pity party over, thanks for listening.
GTKY: Well, I'm having a hard time thinking of one. Something embarrassing that happened last cycle - DH and I were DTD and AF started, ugh, not only embarrassing (I'm far too sensitive of a soul, DH didn't care), but disappointing since we were both hopeful I was KTFU. Boo.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: My periods are really regular (26 days on the dot) and I assumed that meant ovulation would be "regular" too. So, for 3 months we focused sex on the FW based on FF. This month I'm using OPKs and temping and having the reassurance that I'm going to get a heads up for ovulation through the OPK and be able to confirm it through temping has alleviated so much undue stress that I put on myself. If I would have relied just on FF's FW prediction I would have thought "alright, babe we did what we could.. we passed the FW" but because of OPKs and temping I now know that I haven't even ovulated yet! I wouldn't have known the importance of using the tools that are out there without you ladies. So, thank you!
GTKY: Let's hear your most embarrassing story. In 7th grade my friend took a group of us to the fair for her birthday. I don't do spinning rides, but I wanted to do what everyone else was doing so I went on the ride. We were in a 2-seater seat and before I knew it I threw up all over my friend. I felt so bad that I gave her my jacket to wear for the rest of the night and I was so cold. We both also smelled horrible all night.
When I got married I fell a little bit before walking down the aisle. The music has started and my sister ran back to help me.
Falling down is typical for me.
I tripped while walking down the aisle too! Also typical for me, and sort of embarrassing, since all I had to do to get that moment right was walk upright in a straight line without stumbling.

IF) this is a "normal" 28-30 day cycle my O day would be the day we are flying overnight to England. So just wondering if temps would show a shift?
Embarrassing story: when I was in college I did cheerleading... I was tumbling in pants that were too loose and mid air they fell down and I mooned about 75 people at one time..

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: I'm thinking today is the day - I'm normally day 12 or 13 and my temp dropped a bit which is typical for me day of. Im feeling WAY better about our timing then last cycle we totally missed it.

Here it goes.... First visit to a new OBGYN - also the first male OBGYN for me. Obvi I'm nervous so I take a xanax to help with the hand shaking. I got get ready in the johnny and hop on on the table. The Dr and his assistant come in and he goes to take a look and says "We have a problem". I basically freak out and start crying (king of). The "problem" was I forgot to take off my effing undies!
@estakis maybe try doing 2 OPK/day or doing them later in the day. Sometimes the first one in the AM will not catch the surge (it can only last a few hours and tends to happen later in the day). I do one/day (after work- 6ish) and then the day or 2 before I think O will come I do one in the AM and another after work.

@HippoTooth - They never do TOT on Fridays due to HS football games so if Halloween lands on a Friday they do TOT the night before. DD is going as a princess, at least I convinced her not to go as Elsa since everyone we know is going as her lol
Wut? They change Halloween because of a HS football game? I mean, I'm a sports fanatic, but can't they just not schedule a game on that day? I'm not understanding this at all.

Otherwise, sex, pre-seed, water. I'll check my ovaries today to see if dominant follicle, but I doubt it.

In the medical field, it's common for people to have PRN positions that you work "as needed" to cover days off, maternity leaves, etc. Well, I had been offered a PRN position, so I needed to let my primary job boss know, so I sent him a text. Wellll, autocorrect changed PRN to PORN. So I sent my male boss this text: "Hey <insert name>, I just wanted to let you know I got the PORN position, so I'll let you know when I start." Of course I sent it before noticing the mistake. Ugh. I wanted to die.

I wouldn't call this month off with TTC necessarily, @chad5285, but I would consider calling it off with temping. I'd HIO before going, and after just to be safe. You never know!

I have not got a positve OPK yet and have tons of open circles due to not temping at same time every day. Can someone please look at my chart and tell me what the heck is going on? I had two days of positve OPK cd 21 and 22 last cycle.
@*houstongirl* I'm no expert at charting, but my guess is that you ovulated on CD16 because of the elevated temps following that. Maybe some other ladies will have some feedback, as I'm fairly new to charting.

Thanks! I should mention cd 19(3rd raised one) was after some drinking and only 3 hours of sleep. The high drop the next day really confuses me but was taken early at 4:30 vs 7:30.

Oh man. Embarrassing stories are the story of my whole entire life. But one that always sticks out in my memory is when my dress ripped down the ENTIRE side at a concert one time when I was conducting and performing a solo. I had to go out in the audience and borrow someone's coat and wear it on stage. It was entirely awkward.

I was so pumped because Jesse (SIGH), my little crush, was going to be there. So Friday night I spent hours prepping and walked into school, into the gymnasium, to find our cub scouts (Jesse included) having their team meeting. The dance was Saturday night, not Friday. I just stood there, dumbfounded.

When I finished a boy raised his hand and said, "Um, Ms. , I think the word is "organism"." I responded, "Yes, why what did I say?" And realized from the giggles immediately it must have been "orgasm". Awesome. 16 and 17 year olds. Took a good 10 mins for the class to recover from that one.
