GTKY: Alone Time

Evening ladies! Today's question is, when you have the house/apartment/whatever, to yourself, what do you like to do? As for me, every Wednesday, my DBF goes bowling for his bowling league, ad I get the house to myself from 7-9. I grab a bottle of wine, my computer and the remote. I spend the three hours cuddling with my fur babies, drinking a smooth red wine and alternating between TB, Pinterest and StumbleUpon. Currently, I am also recording American Horror Story, so DBF and I can watch it later in the week.

I actually have the house to myself tonight and am taking advantage of the opportunity to binge watch project runway episodes from my DVR.

MH works nights, so I get the house to myself 5 evenings a week. Gets a little old sometimes, but if I don't conk out early (having to get up early for a 12 hour shift makes that happen more than I'd like), I usually play catch up on my shows, or watch a movie off of my ever growing list. I also like to make myself food that he won't eat, like pancakes, or one of my "experiments" that he refuses to eat lol

@mflowers929‌ - MH works nights too, so I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes it's great having alone time and sometimes it's just boring.

Before I discovered TB I would curl up on the couch and read. Lately I haven't gotten much reading done. Lurking takes a lot of time!

Of course, I get puppy cuddles too. And I usually end up reading myself to sleep most nights.

I find myself alone quite a bit at night. Usually I read, watch things I have DVR'd for myself that he wouldn't want to watch, make caramel popcorn because he only likes the regular kind, and just relax. If I find myself alone during the day I usually go crazy with cleaning because I prefer to clean when I am alone.

Ugh, TB is giving me a message about having Javascript in order to Lovetit, which I have never had a problem with, but I LOVE these so far!

Definitely watch lots of trashy TV (almost anything on Bravo) and hang out on iPad.

Watch tv, play video games, sometimes I cook. DH works overnight and sleeps a good portion of the day so I often have the house to myself.

I rarely get alone time, when I do, I usually read or watch the TV shows that DH doesn't like.

I actually love my alone time. I like to grab a glass of wine and watch shows DH doesn't like - or I'm on the computer listening to music. I usually curl up in bed early with a book or Pinterest. I look forward to DH's business trips sometimes :P

I often have time alone in the house because DH works different shifts. I'd love to say that I do lots of activities and crafty things, but I definitely veg out and watch tv

I usually read or watch videos on YouTube. Currently though, I'd love to clean the hell outta my house.

oooh im sorry!!as much as i love DH..when hes gone and i have the house to myself..i LOVE it! i plop down on the recliner with my blanket, snack of choice, and my puppy and i binge watch tv like revenge or reality tv!!its awesome!!oh i dont comb my hair or get dressed either lol love it!

I usually binge watch Netflix shows when I have alone time. I also love reading. And looking up real estate on-line! I'm not sure why, I just love looking in other people's houses

When just left alone at home for an evening, I definitely do absolutely nothing, binge watch something on TV (currently that's Orange is the New Black) and be a lay-about.  When I need to decompress when redbeard is around, I head straight for a bath and go to bed early.  But 'bed' is usually a few hours of playing on my phone :-)
