things that make you nope.

In honor of halloween of friday. What makes you nope(in the it scares the pants off you sense)

Im actually super scared of the paranormal. I used to not be but after some terrifying experiences i dont find the idea of ghost hunting as fun as i used too.

Im most scared of things in the dark. Noises, shadows etc. But im totally creeped out by mirrors in the dark im always expecting to see something creepy pop up in them.

So what freaks you out?

  • I'm copying! Mirrors in the dark, totally!! I still run past them without looking, just like when I was a kid. Also underneath my bed scares me at night too because it's high enough up someone could hide under it. I hope my daughter doesn't have the same bed fear, or mommy is going to have a really hard time explaining she has the same one...! Lol

But, especially recently, some of the shit that goes on in my house.  I told you guys about the time H waved goodbye and blew a kiss to an empty corner?  She refers to that corner as "ab-baba!".  Sure, it's just babble, but that corner is the same, "ab-baba!". This morning she was dancing in the kitchen while I was packing my lunch and I looked at her and said "ab-baba?" to see what she would do, and she pointed to the corner and said "ab-baba!"

And, my dad has a tendency to walk to the kitchen in the middle of the night, to get a drink or snack, sometimes to do the dishes for whatever reason... And the last week he's been telling me that when he leaves his room, H's door is open and when he goes back to her room, her door is shut.  So, he'll ask me if she slept alright or if I brought her in my room for a little while.  But the thing is, because H's doorknob is really loose (something I've been meaning to fix), I have to pull the door a certain way to shut it and I do that. EVERY. NIGHT. She has not slept in my room in a while and the door is shut all the way.  The dogs can't open it and unless my dad is opening up the door and closing it and not remembering, something is going on.

I dread more and more being home alone (with H).

And I should mention that, while I love Halloween, I hate October.  All of my pets that have passed away, passed in October.  I had two friends die on October 15 except a year apart from each other.  My grandmother passed away in October last year (on the 12).  October sucks.
