Opinions on H&M maternity jeans?

Anyone like them? How do they fit? Im in need of at least one good pair of maternity skinnies. I was hoping to put it off but may be driving an hour tomorrow to go pick up a pair before the weekend hits.

  • I had a pair and I liked them but they stretched out a lot!  Might want to try a size down.

  • H&M I use to work there and I love there clothes as long as you take care of them and wash them right. I plan on going to H&M when my pants start to get to tight. They are so cheap!
  • I LOVED my H&M jeans! I cannot wait to wear them again!

  • Asos.com has my favorite maternity pants!  They are reasonably priced too, but free shipping both ways so you don't have to worry about ordering multiple sizes and having to ship back.
  • Funny story, I was shopping at H&M during the sale season over here a couple years ago, and found the most comfortable jeans I'd ever worn. I have skinny legs and a bit of a belly normally and these jeans just hit perfectly everywhere, except there was this weird black thing attached. As you can guess, before buying them I realized they were the maternity pants and I was so horrified I couldn't buy them. But yeah, they're really comfortable for women with bellies, even if you're not pregnant, and they made my butt look great.

I just picked up a very cute pair at Thyme. They are right in style with the going trends too. Little cuffs at the bottom and distressed.
  • I am on baby number 4 and have a pretty extensive collection of maternity clothes at this point. HM are my favorite hands down, even more so than my expensive pea in the pod jeans.
  • I am not a huge fan of Motherhood for most things, but the Jessica Simpson skinny jeans with the full panel were my favorite maternity item last pregnancy.

I tried Old Navy's and the waistband just didn't work.

  • I found mine at Ross and LOVE them. They're cute and fit me perfectly
  • @lehouk and @comeongetdown do you have the actual asos brand maternity jeans?  I'm browsing and just wondering why you like them so much.  TIA!

  • Yes, I have the actual Asos brand.  I really like them because they are still skinny jeans (which is what I was looking for) and they don't stretch out after wearing them a while, which is my biggest pet peeve!  They also go on sale often, so I can get multiple pairs without having to break the bank.
  • I just bought a pair of J Brand from Gilt, and had a question... They don't have the full panel, but stretchy sides. For ladies who have done this before... Are they comfortable later in the pregnancy? I feel like they wouldn't be with a big belly, but I like them for now!
  • Can I somewhat hijack this thread to ask - Where do you all buy your tunics? I'm DONE with jeans/pants and not quite ready to transition to maternity wear, so I'm living in leggings and tunics or sweater dresses. But I need some more...

Affordable places to buy tunics and/or dresses (casual/professional not dressy)?

Kohl's, Target, and Old Navy have a ton this year.

@carolyngrace‌ I would recommend Old Navy and Target.

Never tried H&M pants last time but there is a new one at our mall so I'll have to look into this time.

I loved my dark wash stretchy Motherhood jeans last time. I agree with PP that the waist on Old Navy jeans were not a good fit (way too tight).
