13 week ultrasound..

Had my 13 weeks ultrasound yesterday and everything looked great! We got a sneak peak at the sex (I've had a boy and a girl so I know what both look like on an ultrasound). Just asking what others think about early determination? Too soon to tell?

    Will you be getting the Y Chromosome test? They usually do it at this time. That's how I first learned I was having 2 girls, anatomy scan at 20 wks confirmed it
    Me: 32, DH: 34.
    Trying since Jan 2011. Unexplained IF.
    2 IUIs = BFN.
    1 IVF (Dec 2013) = BFN.
    FET, 2 frosties (June 13, 2014)

    14dp5dt-June 27 -BFP, beta 2061. 2nd beta >5000, 3rd beta >5000, 2 sacs 06/30.
    Twin Girls - 02/11/15 - at 37 weeks (no NICU, home with me at 3 days).

    Our u/s tech was pretty confident at 13 weeks that we were having a boy, and they confirmed it at our 20 week scan. But just because we got lucky doesn't mean it's necessarily accurate that early on. I'd wait until 20 weeks before announcing anything at least.

    I didn't even want a guess at my 13 week scan, I'd rather not know than get a "maybe".

    At 19 week scan it was pretty obvious, tech said she was 100% confident.

    Yeah, 13 weeks is too soon to sell. 

    Since you have one of each already, why not let this one be a surprise on the birth day? That would be very fun! :)
