Happy Heinys pockets?

Someone I know has a stash of barely used prefolds and a few washed but unused Happy Heinys pocket diapers. I'd be getting these mostly for the new baby. I don't know anything about this brand, so any input is appreciated!

I don't have an answer.  But I just hate seeing posts with 0 responses.

Everyone's too busy with the drama today to worry about diaper questions.

I'm no help either DS is 6, and he wore bumgenius fitteds ( these don't even exist anymore.) and thirsties covers. I'm having to start all over as far as styles and brands. I always love to hear about new brands. Hopefully someone has good advice for you.

I have 2 happy heinys OS pockets. They are 2.5 years old. They work very well on a variety of sizes babies. DD1 was a twig, DD2 is McFatty and we haven't had problems on either. A store in SLO used to sell them but stopped so I bought the last 2 for $10 each I think.

@RedDawnsRevenge‌ thanks! These are OS pockets, so I think they are the same as you had. I'm going to grab them and hope they are DH friendly! He isn't to keen on NB prefolds, lol!

Glad to see this thread, because I bought two from someone local who decided not to cloth diaper (never used) and have been wondering if they're decent!

My DH only likes our Charlie Bananas, and only for the reason he can put a finger down the front to feel if they are wet (front loading pocket). But I have no complaints about the HH's. They have a wider seat than most pockets so you can stuff with other brands wider hemp inserts, prefolds, ect.

They were aawful with my skinny DD.  Inserts are not great at all.  Awkward snape 8 vs 4 for  most brands, which caused drooping.  I like them ok with my son who is more average sized, but they still aren't my favorite.  They probably got the least use out of all of my diapers with DD and the elastic was worn out the most.  I actually replaced the elastic in two today (along with 4 BG 4.0s) and it was a lot harder to replace the elastic in the Happy Heinys.

ETA: They will not fit until baby is at least 12-13 lbs
