Birthday Diapers

I'm on a budget what do I get? And I'm not a huge fan of the birthday diaper.

I just got fox n spots and LOVE it. I like the spot prints better than the busy nursery rhyme ones. Though I do like them

That's why I like the Hey Diddle Diddle.  It doesn't look as busy.

DS will wear a cute cover which will most likely be covered up by a cute outfit. If it's for pics or a sans clothing bday party then I guess it makes more sense.

It will be used pictures, the cake smash, and I'm making a shirt that will show it off.

DS wore a solid red cover for his cake smashing. However if you have the opportunity to get something new and cute take the excuse.

Okay, I ended up voting for fox.  I really wanted to vote for other, and suggest the birthday dipe.    But the fox is adorable.

I like the fox one, too, but I would have to take into consideration LO's size. N outgrew our old style TBs around 18-20 months. If the new ones are cut bigger or your LO is not enormous like mine, this shouldn't be a problem for you.

As someone who is on a budget too, I voted to stick with what you have. Even your ugliest cloth diaper will look cuter in pictures than a disposable one. Sorry fellow regulars, but when one must chose between a cute diaper and a family need, the family need takes priority, even if it means that a once in a lifetime picture can't be staged/posed exactly as one wants.

I don't know. M's party had no food, just diapers. And my camera had no film in it. Had to fund that new dipe

Priorities yo. I'm not on a strict budget. I just can't buy ALL of the diapers. And for the record, I haven't bought a new diapers since I bought two Nicki's covers for over night because I only had two overnight covers. Plus I'll probably delay other "want" purchases for a month. I want to get a new carrier, but I'll just keep lending them from the BWI library until I find one I really like. I want to buy new bras, but I'm going to keep using my old ones for another month or two so that I normalize more. And I always make sure my family's needs are met before I even consider buying something absolutely unnecessary. Plus my mother-in-law will probably buy all the food for the party because she likes to help out.

I didn't say she wasn't feeding her family. I was giving a reason for why I can't go with "Buy All The Diapers." or in this case, buy (insert print name) diaper.

For the record I got Fox and Spots, Hey Diddle Diddle, one of their fitteds and some RLR. Hey Diddle Diddle will be his Christmas present (because he does not need any more clothes), Fox and Spots will be his Birthday gift, and I needed another fitted because he's growing out of his LT TT and these were much cheaper to try. The RLR is for my pockets, 2 1/2 years of use has done a number on the insides and I want to try to clean them up a bit.

LLOL. I could probably live out of my cabinets and freezer for a month if I really wanted to. I'm just too lazy to remember what I have in there.
