Well, I'm up late, or early depending on your perspective, because of pregosomnia and the fact that a friend of mine, who's just past 32 weeks pregnant, is in L&D overnight. We are hoping her little boy doesn't come early, however, her contractions are strong. So I am sitting up with her to keep her company as her hubby is home sleeping with the kids because he has to work early in the morning, and her mother is out of town for the week.

The movie was really cute last night and the artwork in it (which was my main reason for wanting to see it) was really nice.  Chewy is the best character.

My negative of the day is that I may have finally hit a point of overdoing things.  I was up part of the night with pretty bad soreness down the middle of my stomach and couldn't find a position that alleviated any of it.  It's still not great, especially if I get up and walk, but I'm at least sitting up.  I'm going to take it easy today and I've called out of coaching this afternoon since I don't think I could effectively run around with the kids.

Good morning sunshines! I have a busy day filled with screening interviews (I'm interviewing people), office meetings (phone meetings since I work from home) and an awkward lunch with my parents. I'm going to try to bring up the fact that DH and I are hiring a financial planner to help us with some direction for our money and some budgeting with two LOs on the way. The awkward part is that I'm trying to figure out if they are going to help pay for high school/college or not. The public schools here are junk so private high schools will probably be in the cards, ranging from $15k-20k per year per kid. My grandmother paid for our college and part of our high school so I'm simply wondering if they will be doing the same or if we need to plan to have that money in 12 years. (6th-12th grades)

Morning! Finally purchased the aqua and coral crib bedding last night. I'm sure you ladies are tired of me talking about it! Then afterwards I saw a pretty lilac/gray/soft yellow bedding. I'm like that's cute. I have issues!!

Today is my day off and I have nothing officially planned. It is such a nice feeling. There is plenty to do around the house but I am to a point I just don't care.

H is sick. I slept with my body pillow between us blocking his face from mine I don't want it! He woke up with a low grade fever today and is staying home from work. This is only the 2md he has stayed home from work because he is sick in like 5 yes. Poor guy I feel bad but I am terrified of getting sick and having nothing I can take so I am avoiding him.

I only work a whopping 6 hours a week, in 2 hour increments. This week with DS being sick, I missed two days. I'm actually glad to go to work this morning for a few hours. It will be nice to socialize with adults for a change, and not a cranky toddler.  

Apparently, I've been extra bitchy lately.  I am sure it is all because FIL and DH's super inconsiderate friend were both here this weekend and the friend will be back tomorrow for the night again.  I can't tell DH that though, because then he will get butthurt that I'm annoyed by his dad's awful guest habits.  I think too, that the hormones are making me extra crazy lately and the pregnancy discomfort is pushing me over the edge by the time he gets home from work.  I need to try to be nicer to him, I feel bad for making him think I'm mad at him or being mean to him.

Good morning! I have been pretty sick this week. Morning sickness comes back I guess. I went to L&D yesterday just to get checked out per doctor's orders and everything came back ok. My elevated liver enzyme levels from my hospital stay over a month ago are finally back to normal! So glad! I hope you all are having a great week.

Good morning! I feel like I missed so much yesterday. Between DS teething, my family having issues, DH teetering on crazy (apparently our house is dirty with a whopping 10 toys always on the floor), school work and just being pregnant I was run down. DH took me out so I could find a nice, light maternity coat while I wait on the good one to arrive. There were zero maternity jackets so I looked at just a larger size. I, a woman who had never had to go above a medium even for clothes that run small, out on a 1x and had trouble buttoning it. I was all of the sudden so overwhelmed that my face leaked water. DH came back to me, asked what was wrong and I lost it. I had to sit down and weep in a store. Then I realized people could see me and I was embarrassed so I cried harder. DH paid while I snuck out, hiding my face behind a toddler.

That's the first time in 2 pregnancies that I've cried in public and I felt powerless to control myself. I blame having a girl. She's making me emotional. DH felt so bad he took me to lunch and then bought me some shirts from pinkblush. He's a sweetheart and I think we're all feeling so much better today.

Also, I turned in my final yesterday! I'm officially just waiting for grades to close out for my degree.

@KristinMTbell Thanks. When I got home I cried about it for a little bit but now I’m ok. I searched all over pinterest for ideas of what to eat at least until I go to my appointments.

@CatLadytx FIL is still there? Whens he leaving? I don’t blame you for being bitchy. Your Dh’s father sounds really inconsiderate. Hoping he leaves soon.

Also I wish I worked 6 hours a week total. I’d probably be an overall nicer person if I did. SO I’m jelly about that.

I'm so not prepared for Halloween on Friday. Usually I love Halloween and decorate for it but I'm just too tired to even care.

DD is excited to be getting to wear her costume soon and seeing her in it is like the only thing I'm really looking forward to. I wish I had more spirit this year.

Baby brain is hitting hard this time! I was just in the bathroom and meant to take a pic for bump day but walked out and forgot. Then I realized I forgot my pass so had to wait until someone else left the office so they could let me in.

@jennjilljoite‌ I understand how you feel. I had a moment quite like that the only day. Poor dh was flabbergasted. I've always been a size 6 pant and small shirt since high school, and I had to move the buttons on my peacoat. I was pretty devastated. I know it's good, its just so different and awkward to move now.

I'm getting a late start to my day. Typically I work 7a to 3:30p, but today I'm working 11:30a to 8p because I have some presentations this evening. Its very strange to still be at home right now!

@jennjilljoite‌ that sounds like a rough evening. Sorry you had a moment but it's ok I've had a few over the stupidest things such as who won master chef. I didn't like the winner and it apparently upset me to the point of tears. But YAY! For turning in your final and getting your degree! That's awesome! I just finished mine in May and it was such a relief.

Today is stupid work but then I get to go to my sisters and help make Halloween treats for my nephew! Is popcorn ok for 2 yr olds?

I had a dream last night that I was about to give birth! I had one contraction that didn't hurt & the nurse said it's time. I don't remember anything that happened after.. I probably woke up to pee. But it felt so real!! Crazy.

@DBJackson25‌ thanks. I was really upset about the master chef winner too so I understand why you cried. That girl was awful. Also, I think popcorn is fine for a 2 year old. I give it to DS and just watch him with it.

There's an interesting banal diaper bag-turned "what should Dad contribute as a parent" thread on J15. Other than the loon who said she can't use a black bag cause she lives in the South (am I the only one who finds that ridiculous?) it was totally tame until a few hours ago. Considering my DH does more chores than I do, I don't expect parenting to be any less than (close to) 50/50.

All the feels spam:  Our collection of u/s prints is in a jumbled stack on my bedroom dresser (from 6, 9, 13 and 18w) and I stopped for a second last night to arrange them into a neater stack.  I looked at them for a long time.  I am growing a person!!!!!  It has feet, a perfect nose, fingers...  I was really amazed.

Good Morning Ladies, 

I'm not moving very fast at all today, i have had such a crazy couples days running around that i'm enjoying this down time. 

I had my 24 week check up and i was told to go on an iron supplement and that I could just get it at the drug store, but when I got there, she started asking me which type, and i honestly couldn't remember what he said, he was listing all different ones and said that they would be fine, but all i seemed to retained that I had to drink lots of water, so I wouldn't get backed up. Baby brain at its finest I guess.

Zoe was kicking me a lot last night but at least I got to sleep in. Dh is about to take me out for coffee then I am going to try and do some cleaning. Hopefully I can get to making the mashed potatoes tonight without feeling sick. Hope everyone has a great day today!!!!

thats stupid. just because someone lives in the south doesnt mean their bag cant be black. that amazes me.


ok so there is this teacher at my school and hes being kinda weird. he always wants to talk to me.

yesterday i was talking to the newly pregnant teacher and he comes up into the middle of our conversation and says "wow you both are pregnant you should go into buisness together" "positive pregnancy test sell really well on the internet you could make $30 test. hey you all could even freeze your pee and gave a surplus". we both looked at him like wtf and the pregnant teacher walkes off.

but everyday he goes out of his way to start long weird conversations with me. today so far its been about my lanyard.
but i never had someone be that creepy before about being pregnant.

@jennjilljoite as someone who has had major crying meltdowns at least 1x a week for the past 2 months I totally understand your feelings. But knowing that you also cried uncontrollably made me feel really good about myself. (sorry its the viper).

So my neighborhood is pretty quiet, so naturally when something happens or the police come around everybody is trying to figure out what happened or whats going on. 

My ex-military husband has put on his fatigues and crept through the bushes to spy on the Swat team that has been posted up a neighbors house. He says swat has been there for over an hour. 

Now this house is around the corner about 2 streets over from ours... why my husband thinks that today is a good day to play military spy, I have no idea. I dont know whether to laugh at him for being an idiot, or be worried he may get accidentally shot. 

Is he having a military flash back, or does he think Call Of Duty came to life? 

Sometimes you just have to let men be... themselves I guess. 

This is right up there with @foxslaw BF who built the double decker couch. (at least I think it was foxslaw).
