Drinks for baby?

I am BF and plan to for another year, in theory. LO loves people food though, and doesn't drink as much milk during the day as he used to. Especially since we're about to embark on a 8000 km road trip, and live in hot temperatures, I'd like to start giving LO drinks more often. I hate pumping, and rarely do it, and at this stage there doesn't seem much point in starting LO on bottles. Occasionally I give LO sippy cups of water, but he just kind of plays with them. He prefers to drink out my my glass. I've given him watered down pear juice when he's a bit backed up too. I was thinking of trying something like almond milk.

What, if anything, are you giving LO to drink? I know from other discussions that my LO isn't the only one showing less interest in milk lately.

I always have a sippy cup of cool boiled water with me, for mealtimes and just in case situations, but 95-99% of drinks are from the boob
  • Just formula and water here, too. FWIW, that's still all DS drinks and he's 4! He's perfectly content with it, and when given the choice will choose milk over juice every time. Fine by me!

  • We've tried the training cup a few times, but he just wants to chew it (hello, teething).  Pedi suggested I put formula in the cup instead of water (ff baby), so I'm not offering him anything else (water/formula only so far)
