Update2: Positive at home, negative at the doctors? Xposted

Hello ladies, I have a rainbow baby that is almost eight months and I'm still breastfeeding. Yesterday I got a positive test at home followed by two more last night and three more earlier today. I went to the doctor today and got a negative there. I came home and took another test wondofo and got a super faint positive. Two weeks ago (oct. 14) I had a couple days of bleeding and super intense pain. Felt like labor actually but thought it was just my periods coming back. But the positive test yesterday would mean I O'd right after. I'm leaning more towards a miscarriage and the test caught the tail end of it. The doctor sent me for blood work and if it comes back with any number then I go back Thursday for another draw to see which way the numbers are going. This sucks and it's hard being in limbo. Not sure if I should be happy or sad. If it is a miscarriage my husband is leaning towards being done trying. He doesn't want to risk more losses. Augh what a day. Any one have any stories where this happened but worked out in the end? Thanks for listening just had to get this out there. UPDATE: So my blood work came back and the hCG is at 45 eventhough the doctor claimed theirs would read at 25. I go back today for my second draw and we will see if we are doubling. I'm feeling pretty optimistic about it but trying not to get too excited just yet. Thank you ladies for all the kind words and stories. Can't explain how helpful they are. You ladies rock. UPDATE2: My second blood draw came back at 66. That puts the doubling time at 77hours. The dr. says it's not looking good but wants to do another draw Monday. Should know more on Tuesday so let the limbo continue. Augh UPDATE 3: My doctor called me back today which freaked me out because the nurse has been calling me. But it was good news. My betas went up to 425. A 31 hour doubling time. He says he is optimistic about this pregnancy but wants to do an early ultrasound!! I go in tomorrow to see if we can possibly see a heart beat, I doubt it, or at least a yolk sak. I also get my blood drawn tomorrow to check betas and progesterone. This is a new doctor for me and I'm loving them. I haven't had to ask for any of this and he has made it happen. It's like he knows what I need to feel better. Thanks ladies for the positive words.

Hey @klbowie‌ ! I've been lurking again, not very active yet, but wanted to say I'm thinking about you in this! I can say all my bfps have been positive at home almost a week before they showed at the drs office - and they always say theirs are super cheap and only detect higher levels (think 20-50) vs the 5-10 the expensive otc tests we buy. So, food for thought.

Hoping that whatever the result you're able to move ahead with the best plan for you and that DH comes around to whatever choice U make. (((Hugs)))

I also think the Dr's test is not as sensitive as the ones we use. When I was ku with B, the nurse at the Dr office warned me not to get my hopes but because her test was "barely positive". I ended up being pg for reals that time.

I got a positive on a Wondfo with only a HCGb of 7 on my blood work and a negative in-office urine test. I hope you get good news from the lab. ((hugs)) I know the waiting game can be so hard!

I believe @mightymousy had her first doctors tests come back negative after BFPs at home. Different situation in that she wasn't nursing and knew her dates for sure though. FX for you that tomorrow goes well.
