Before we knew we were having an Aiden we called him our little sparkle... He's going to love that when he's older lol.

When we first found out, I was having some ridiculous cases excessive thirst followed by frequent bathroom trips. Started off as a joke, that there's a little Fishy that wants a bigger pond. Then it just stuck

Originally it was Bunny bc my original EDD was April 5th, Easter. But since i got pushed back 5 days to the 10th, i started calling it my little Invader or Invader Zimm like a play off my last name. I also call it a jelly bean and my little parasite. Lol

I've just been referring to it by whatever the fruit of the week is. It will have a name in 4 weeks though :-)

Baby lastname 2.0. Currently in production, set for a release date in mid April.

DS was Optimus Prime because he consistently measured big, and I did t think it would fair to call him Megatron until I got to know him better.

Shrimp...because the shrimp emoji on iPhone looks like a fetus and my husband and I will text that to each other among other random emojis all day long. It's hilarious.

Jr, Hubs made the nickname, I didn't like it, but it stuck. Every time we announced our pregnancy to someone, he would get excited (and a little drunk, because we told people over drinks) and joke about how he would name or kid after them. I'm not sure why it bothered me so much, I know he was never serious... maybe it was just the smell of the booze that was pissing me off, the thought of him choosing a name without me, or the fact that it feels like an insult and just isn't funny. After some talks he doesn't make that joke any more. But Jr. Is still around.

We call the baby "Lupa."  Short for Chalupa Batman.  It started as a joke when we were thinking up outrageous answers to people asking about our name choice.

Bean, peanut, junior, princess, littlest brat... anything else we think of at the moment we are referring to the baby. We should be finding out later this week (hopefully) and then we will call the baby by his/her name.

SO calls baby "Monkey" because I have been eating an insane amount of bananas since I've been pregnant (mostly due to morning sickness early on and it was the only thing that would settle my stomach!)

Bob. Our friends have a 6mo Marley so he said if we have a boy, we can name him Bob so they can be "Bob Marley" when they are playing together. His sisters hate that we call it that but it just stuck and it's fitting. I'm not a fan of the typical bean, jellybean, peanut, etc. Bob is more fun to us.

While discussing names we veered off into hilariously bad territory. So we now have Professor, North East(it's funnier cause our last name begins with South...) and spawn.

My mom started calling it Fig when we were registering at Babies R Us...  She was looking at a name book while I was filling out paperwork and one of the lists was fruit names.  We were joking about how ridiculous they were and for some reason she decided Fig wasn't awful.  (Not as a real name...)  And she didn't want to call it Peanut because that's what she called my nephew.  And Fig stuck...

We mainly refer to the baby as Lil W or just the baby.

Our best friends decided the baby's name was going to be Optimus Prime so that's stuck with our group! Strange, I know.

bun. little one. baby bear (I call my husband "bear", so this is the only really personalized nickname).

We don't really have a set nickname but when we do talk about LO it's usually something like "little buddy" "little guy". I wanted to add to the list of hilarious name suggestions by kids and say that my little cousin suggested "ghostbuster taco". At the rate we are coming up with boy names that might just stick.

My little bug, when I first got pregnant I had cold like symptoms, super sleepy, zero appetite, feverish, and so achey! We didn't know I was pregnant and I just wanted to kick whatever the "bug" I had was. A few weeks later turns out it wasn't just a bug! Lol.

DH whose name is Matt started referring to baby as Matt Jr and it stuck.

We call ours Ace. Our friend's 4 year old drew us a picture of a baby after we announced to them and labelled the baby Ace and it stuck.

We call the baby gummy bear. At my 9 week appointment the midwife said that's what they resemble at that point. And it's just stuck with us.

We were successful in our first round of IVF. The first few pictures helped the first nickname of The Tick because it felt like the kid was sucking the life out of me. We moved onto B.O.B. and we started calling the baby a him since it seemed so clinical. Now we know we are having a boy and still call him BOB even though that's not his name. BOB stands for Baby on belly.

Right now we're still in the no nickname or 'baby' camp. With DS he became Little Bear after he was born, so maybe we'll come up with something later on, or at least after we know boy or girl.

Minion! DH has been referring to pretty much any kid he likes as minion for a while now and jumped on it as a nickname for our baby right away. He says it's because when they're little they do your bidding (he obviously hasn't worked with young kids very much yet haha).

Cashew. My husband calls me Peanut because of an inside joke that we have so he decided to keep it in the nut family.
