An OP bumped up her intro from over a month ago to make a comment on it. I understand people missing that it was old at first (especially if you are mobile and missed all of the massive tickers from people who commented and have since graduated) but, and this is a really big but, our mod took the time to go in and edit the title to now have a warning (tickers, old post).
She did this because the very first person who posted on that old thread in September has since graduated and now has a fruit ticker. There is, of course, no siggy warning because one was not needed when that person posted. That is the danger of bumping up old posts.
If you see a post that has in the title "old post", for the love of all things, quit welcoming the OP and telling her you are sorry for her loss. It's an old post.
Being mobile is not an excuse on this one - it's in the title.
Re: Everyone Read - "old post" warnings in titles
