I was able to make it to a local Twins and Multiples group meeting last night, as I am done working nights! It was great :-) I am looking forward to being more involved there. They had a panel of multiples ranging from 8yo to 31yo that we could ask questions about how it was growing up, anything you would do differently? What did you like/ not like... and a wide variety of answers about what worked for them :-) very fun!

Anybody else involved in local Moms of Multiples groups? How do you like it, what do you all do? What should I be asking them? :-)

I just joined my local group a few weeks ago but didn't make the meeting last night. It was about raising 2-5 year olds so I felt funny showing up still pregnant. Sounds like you had a really cool meeting and that panel sounds like an awesome idea!

Any insight the provided that you'd like to share?

I joined when I was pregnant.  I find my group a great bunch of ladies, and a great resource for not just kid related things.  My club is pretty active and is a non for profit.  We are affiliated with state and national chapter( Multiples of America).  We have monthly meetings on many different topics / activities- not all kid related.  We have two resales a year- each doing around 40K in sales.  After our monthly meetings, members head to a local pub for drinks and apps.  We have frequent playdates and moms only night outs.

My club has a website and Facebook closed group.  I feel it is a very open and friendly group.

I went to my fist meeting last month and I loved it!

I started going to the local multiples group a few months ago. They have monthly meeting with various speakers. This month they had a doula come in. They also have 2 consignment sales a year. Usually they have family outings each month for the kids. They went to the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago. They are planning on touring a tv station in November. So far I've enjoyed them and was able to get some good advice especially since we just moved here.

I haven't joined mine yet  I was a prospective member for two months but as my girls were micro-preemies, I haven't dared to get them, or us, involved in much until they are older due to the immune systems of preemies.  I can't wait to though!
