My husband and I have 6 biological children and are exploring newborn adoption through a lawyer or agency. We have limited funds, but have enough live to share with another precious little one.
Please give your input about either by PM or reply here if that's allowed.
We went through an agency. We didn't hire a lawyer. The court appointed a lawyer for the father's termination of parental rights later this month. We plan to use one of our agency's lawyers during the adoption finalization hearing.
im pretty sure too that you will need a lawyer regardless if you use an agency or not. if you want to go the "affordable" route, why dont you try concurrent adoption? (im not sure that is how to write) but on that, you have chances to take a baby and if the parental rights is exterminated for one reason or another, you will be able to adopt. I think that has no cost to you!
