I am at a conference for work. Big thing on the news is people monitoring their temperature based on exposure to infected individuals. I brought my bbt thermometer with me and left it on the nightstand (With the protective cap on) so I can keep temping when I wake up... wonder what house keeping will think when they see it. Lol. Tell me your funny travel stories. Yes, looking for entertainment during the not as interesting parts of the conference. ..

Off Mirena Nov 2013, On Nuvaring end of Jan, Back off Sept 2014. Never ending cycle starting end of Sept...
11/14 Provera failed... cycle continues
12/14 High FSH (57 "midcycle") OBGYN had no clue... about anything
01/15 More lab results coming back from RE. U/S showed small (1")cyst on left ovary, thin lining, and couldn't locate right ovary so possibly straight to DE and IVF
Occassionally mess with the chart below to see "what if" and learn (not to make it pretty but because FF stays drunk with me).
In Hawaii we rented a car on Kaui and decided to just explore the island by ourselves. There is really only one major road so it seemed fine. Well - a lot of places that one road is only one lane and goes across one lane bridges with blind turns! Needless to say DH ended up scraping up the car pretty good and when we turned it in the rental place knew the EXACT place where the accident happened.
In Vegas once I was on a plane coming home and the dudes in front of me were clearly still wasted. The one kid started having convulsions and they had to emergency stop the plane and have an ambulance come pick him up. His bros were going to leave him in Vegas by himself!! The flight attendant made them all get off the plane. (so not really funny, but weird)
I have a few. I lived in Bosnia for a year. Dumpsters there are lightweight, not anchored to the ground, and have wheels. Also, Sarajevo is a windy place. Yup - I had to swerve off the road because a dumpster was flying at me.
Me: 38 DH: 40 TTC#1 (and likely only) since 9/13. Saw RE 5/14, SA good, AMH 2.36, FSH 7.2, estradiol 69.6 indicating good egg reserve. Using OPKs. First Letrozole cycle 6/14, a burst cyst and a BFN. Second Letrozole cycle 7/14, BFN.
Update 11/14 - had laparoscopy 10/28, good news is that my uterus and left tube look good, and they were able to drain the cyst on my left ovary. Bad news is that right tube and ovary have endo and scar tissue, so they're pretty useless.. Best news is that we finally have some answers and a path forward. Taking 7.5 mg letrozole CD 2-6 to put that good left ovary through its paces.
UPDATE 2/2015 - We switched to another fertility clinic, but fortunately we don't have to start all over. We're doing two cycles of Clomid plus IUI, if neither of those take, we'll do IVF in April, potentially with ICSI. (DH's SA has gone downhill, likely due to excessive exercise.) IUI#1 2/25/15....
Best flight ever was flying to Vegas on Southwest. A couple was going for their anniversary, so as the flight was heading to the gate, the flight attendant sang them "I Wanna Grow Old With You" from the Wedding Singer. That is one of my favorite movies and I always remember the trip because it was so sweet and the flight attendant was pretty good looking.
@WinoGrrl yikes to your stories. I am in Vegas....
@wannabmama23 that's so cool. What a great idea. Love that movie
@clgsquared I think the appropriate response could have been. .. "it's a long flight"

I have lots of funny travel stories, but my favorite recent one was coming back from my bachelorette party this summer. I just had a carry on and didn't think anything of it on the way home. Until I got pulled aside for a bag check...and realized the tube of something called "good head"...which definitely violated the 3oz rule...and the whip my cheeky friends had given me were in my "here comes the bride" tote bag. My friend and I were a touch hungover and could not stop laughing. Luckily the TSA agent saw what it said on the the bag, laughed, and handed it back to me. I grabbed it and ran out of there, scarlet faced.
On a family road trip when I was young (maybe 9 or 10) we checked into a hotel in some Podunk town and when we got to the room there were red velvet curtains, red velvet coverlets and a view out the window of a brick wall. First words out of my dad's mouth were "Oh my God, I've checked us into a brothel."

All the funny stories I have from traveling were actually funny for those around, embarrassing for me but that's the story of my life -_-
The most recent one is when we all had to get off the plane due to plane issues. As I was getting off the plane (I was still in the aisle of the plane) I had my rolling carry on in front of me and I tripped. I went flying over the suitcase, flat on my face. Of course everyone behind me was watching. Then as we we were all on the escalator the guy behind me told me to be careful and warned the people behind me. Of course we all laughed. Well, my sweater that was hanging off my suitcase got stuck in the escalator as I was getting off.. And I tripped again. I was the joke for the remainder of that trip. Some guy even took my suitcase from me and carried it off the plane lol
I am not sure how to say this without getting a "solicitation" warning so I guess I just say that I am not longer active on THIS site.
