Membrane Stripping

I had my membrane stripped today and I am exactly 40 weeks and am 3cm dilated. Just wanted to know everyone else's experience with it. Thank you!

    5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional.  5 BFPs.  My rainbow arrived 10/15/14.
    TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.

    Well, I've had this done for the last 6 appts now. VERY vigorously the last 3 because they were really trying to weaken things since I'm passed my EDD, but no luck. It works for some people, and just doesn't for others.

    But yeah, like others have said this has been answered a lot so maybe just do a search.

    Me: Endometriosis, PCOS, Insulin Resistance, Estrogen Dominance, Irregular Cycles
    DH:  100% Abnormal Sperm Morphology
     BFP #1 (Surprise!)  "Monkey"- 09/16/2006. DS born 06/01/2007.
