Healthy Living Check-in

Ok, so I have to admit, I am bad about remembering to do this check-in on a Friday since I am mentally checked-out by then. If you ladies are alright with it being on Monday I'll do better to keep up with it!

We are a group of women striving to live healthier lives, whether that means losing weight, gaining weight, sticking to a specific diet, counting calories, avoiding counting calories, starting to exercise, continuing to exercise or anything in between.

    The Bad: I have been munching too much lately
    The Proud: I baked apple dumplings last week and haven't touched them
    The Plan: We are on our third week of having a food plan so we are just trying to stay with the plan.

    I'll play!

    The Good: Being on a strict diet plan has really helped me focus on losing weight.
    The Bad: My diet limits how much I can eat.
    The Proud: I have stuck with it and followed all the rules and lost 10 lbs in 3 weeks.
    The Plan: To keep it up for the next 5 weeks.

    The Good: I ran/walked intervals 3 times last week and am doing good sticking to training for a 5k!

    The Bad: My RE called today...my thyroid levels are high. We are discussing it more tomorrow before my HSG, but this explains a lot on the TTTC as well as my inability to lose more than a few pounds.

    The Proud: I've been eating much healthier snacks like fruit instead of junk

    The Plan: Keep on keeping at it :) I want to run 3 days again this week.

    ETA: Licorice! !
  • The Good: I went for a run on Sunday.
    The Bad: I didn't do diddly squat yesterday.
    The Proud: Even though I have apparently gained almost 20 pounds since March (I just figured this out last night after I was weighed at a doctor's appointment), I actually think I look fine. This is huge for me. I've never been satisfied with how my body looks.
    The Plan: I need to more exercise and have more sex strictly for the endorphins and for easing chronic back pain.. and of course making a baby.


    Question of the Week: always Snickers. duh.
