Foster to Adopt Update *vent* UPDATED *pg and baby mentioned*

Hi Ladies,

Things are moving along slowly with our foster to adopt plans.  After playing phone tag with my caseworker we got a letter in the mail Saturday that is asking us to explain why we didn't disclose DH divorce and child support arrears.  Looking at the court paper, we had a good giggle.  This so called divorce and child support arrears show a date of 1976-1992.  DH was born in 1977, this is his first marriage and we all know that he can't have his own biological children.  I have a call in for my caseworker to let her know that her researcher is a dumbass  mistaken and has the wrong person.  How hard is it to look at DH date of birth.   *sigh*

**UPDATE**

Well I just spoke to our case coordinator who fixed the problem the researcher made.  And she was mainly calling to inform us that we are tentatively matched with an expectant mom due in Feb. It would be a straight adoption but since we applied for either or we were able to be considered. There's some paperwork that needs to be done on her end before it's considered an actual match, but if things go well we can expect to bring a baby home at the end of Feb/beginning of March.  I'm trying not to get too excited but inside I'm about to explode.

Ugh, that is so frustrating!  It reminds my of those silly pictures you see online with the tags "you only had one job"

I just laughed/angry snorted at that! Well perhaps this will make them feel bad and try to make the process easier for you guys going forward.
