It's a Girl...

We just found out we're expecting our 2nd baby girl in March! We are excited, but have such a difficult time agreeing on girl names!! Our 2.5 yr old is Eden, we love that her name is not super common and has a cute nn (Edie) if we ever choose to call her that! If ever there was/is a boy his name would be August. I am dying for some suggestions/opinions...

I love Louise! But its a big fat No! From DH. I've tried to like Eloise...but in real life seems like too much for some reason.

Congrats. I like Annabelle, Isla and Elizabeth. I'd drop June. It's a fine name but sounds choppy to me with another one syllable name as the middle.

Would you consider Pearl as a FN?  I think Eden and Pearl are lovely together.

I agree with @Helenahhandbasket‌ on Pearl as a first name. Pearl and Eden sound so stinking cute together.

And I think @ramy3‌ 's suggestion of Juniper to strengthen June is great. I didn't love June on your list as a full FN. But I can get on board with it as a NN. I have never considered Juniper before but I'm loving it! And it sounds super cute with Eden.

Agggghhhh. You guys are giving such great feedback!! How will we ever choose?! I just love too many girl names. At least we have a few months to go...although Eden didn't have her name until 3 hours after she was born! Now to get my hubby on my side!!!

No way DH would go for Juniper! He's surrounded by Olivia's, Maddie's, Haley's etc...high schoolers ruining my chance for a non-popular name choice! Ps-he's a teacher...not a perv.

Wow this is a fantastic list!! The ONLY one I dont' like is Isla. Never have. The rest I LOVE! Elizabeth/Libby is our girl name so that would be my first choice. Tessa i ADORE but we can't use it with our last name. I love Annabelle, sweet and southern I prefer Lilah spelled like this, but its a great name either way. Love June.

I don't like any of your husband's - London is awful and so is Harper I hope he comes around to your names! lol.

Wait I need to amend based on your mn (which I also love!). I don't like June with it - June Pearl is too choppy. All the rest sound great with Pearl. I think the one with the prettiest flow is Lilah Pearl, but they are all great.

Like Tessa only as a NN for Theresa/Teresa.  Love the classic Elisabeth (this spelling) with Bess as a NN.

Tessa- Tessa is a nice name but I don't like it with Eden and (potential future) August.
Annabelle- I love, love Annabelle.
Isla/Lila- I love both of these names equally and think either one is your best choice!
Elizabeth (Libby)- I like this one but not as much the others.
June- I love June also but not with mn Pearl.

We seem to share naming styles, as my daughter is Tessa and two of our top girls names for this LO are Elizabeth/ Eliza and Lila. What about Maren? What about Magnolia NN Noli or Nola?

I LOVE Elizabeth. I always have. If we have a girl she will be Elizabeth. I had my mind set on calling her Libby too. But that might change when she gets here (if it's a girl lol).
