Motion sensor baby monitor

I have been looking for something that I'm not sure exists, but I may be wrong so I'm asking here. For nearly Jake's whole life we've been using an Angelcare monitor and it's given us great peace of mind. Well, he's bigger and rolls all over the place, so he rolls off the small pad whic sets off the alarm. I know there are versions of this with bigger pads or two pads on one circuit, but is there a kind on which the alarm does not sound on the unit in the baby's room (rather, just the parent unit)? Normally, if the alarm goes off because he's rolled off the pad, we go in and reposition him, no problem. But sometimes the sound of the alarm wakes him up. We'd actually just get rid of it, except he has epilepsy with seizures marked by apnea. He is on maintenance meds, and his seizures have only happened when he was awake, but I'm greatly afraid of a situation in which he wakes up in the middle of the night and has a seizure...and we don't know about it until it's too late.

TIA!

I don't know much about them, but I've heard good things about Snuza monitors. They may have one that has what you need!

You might want to look into "bed alarms" they are commonly used in hospitals & elder care facilities. They are much larger than the angel care sensor and come in many sizes. I'm not sure if there is a solution to the alarm going off in your LOs room.

A bed alarm is a pressure pad that alarms when weight is removed. I don't think that'll help the OP....

I'm doing some research into the Levana Oma, and it seems to have gotten alot of positive reviews, both on BRU and Amazon.

The purpose of the alarm on the unit in the baby's room is to try to wake them in case they stop breathing so I don't think they make them without. We went through a phase where baby was rolling around the crib but was still too small for the sensor mat to pick up. Once baby was bigger the false alarms stopped as we'll.
