My sister just told me that you aren't allowed to eat Bacon while pregnant. Someone please tell me this is wrong. If I have to go 9 months without bacon I might cry.

  • Haha I texted a friend who is am EMT and he was like I have never heard of that at all. Eat all the bacon you want. I have my first us on Monday so I'm going to ask to be sure. But even if she says no its not I eat it every day so I will be eating it no matter what.

  • I had it twice today, lol. I think it has something to do with the nitrate content, just like hot dogs. It should be fine in moderation. :)

  • If you are worried about nitrates, bacon is higher in nitrates. BUT, you can Nitrate free :)
    PCOS- finally pregnant after 3 years of IF treatment, including 4 failed IUI. 

    Lucky IUI #5 currently growing in my belly!

    SHG 5/10/13: both tubes blocked; HSG 6/28 = Left tube cleared! Right blocked.
    BFP#1 7/20/13 EDD 3/30/14, m/c 8/19/13, D&E 8/21/13, Chromosomal results = normal, female
    Lap & hysteroscopy scheduled for 10/31, right tube cleared, no endo found! ...Happy Halloween!
